I joined the dark side with a pure eldlich deck on my ipad account. Turns out as soon as you flip any of the eldland/lixir spells 90%of people just scoop. I can see why so many people play it.

Its fun in silver and gold but the closer you get to platinum people have more backrow hate and better hand traps. Gets a lot more annoying.

But I always play against people that know the game fairly well and will play down to the wire. Its one reason I cant chain as many games together when one game took 30 minutes. Stupid witchcrafters. And no I wasnt playing jank Unchained >.>

Kinda unrelated but I saw a GDQ speed run last week of Yugioh Forbidden Memories and I have become so fascinated with how weird that game is. I gotta find a way to play it

It's a shame that an archetype with such badass lore and designs has such a toxic floodgate-abusing playstyle that people hate playing against, especially in a BO1 format where you can't side deck for it. But you just gotta adjust. Run more backrow removal. Run ways to banish Gold Daddy. There's plenty of ways around it. For example, I run Heavy Storm Duster in my Sky Striker deck specifically so this shit...

I've actually almost finished that Dragonmaid Eldlich deck I'm working on. I have the Dragonmaid cards I need, now I just need a little bit more UR dust for a copy of Eldlich The Mad Golden Lord (which I surprisingly didn't pull while originally building my Eldlich deck) for the extra deck.

I'm surprised they haven't made waifu/husbando/popular cards as mates.

I would gladly pay real money to see Lava Golem give me a big red melting thumbs up whenever I tribute my opponent's monsters for him or a Kaiju.

So, today I learned that getting Summon Limit + Skill Drain + Monarch Says Fuck You (for when he inevitably popped Skill Drain) on the field against a Mathmech deck might be unnecessarily cruel. In my defense, however, he summoned Accesscode Talker turn one and had no protection for it.

why would one summon Accesscode turn 1? Even if you have negates thats just begging to get kaijud. >_>

I honestly have no idea what he was thinking. Maybe he figured I'd be unable to do anything about it (which has been known to happen, I have drawn into some absolutely shit hands), or maybe he was just so used to going second that he autopiloted his way into it. But if that was the case, he would have made me go first, so we're back to "I have no idea."

Had a amazing game against a tri brigade/lyrilusc deck vs my Dinosaur deck I generally though I had lost.

They go first and end with 4 monsters, two of which being simorgh bird of paradise buffed to 3k atk plus barrier statue. And even though I had bricky hand initially with pot of prosperity I managed to find and utilize my sole copy of forbidden droplets to negate both monsters.

Drew aminedorned that turn also thankfully and with a baby dino in hand it just snowballed from there into a board of petestabug, ultimate conductor tyranno, baby dino, and barroload savage dragon.

Thankfully they didn't have any hand traps, though I was sweating bullets on if they did or not.

I dunked on 3 opponents in a row with my U.A. deck right before the maintenance started. One of them was a Numeron OTK player, and I summoned Player Manager on his turn to negate the effects of the Numeron monsters he summoned. He scooped immediately.

Telekinetic charging cell and cyber stein is pretty absurd even if you need a few things to make sure the combo is possible. Road warrior into cyber stein is clever though.

But also, lmfao 9 negates from multiple sources on the field so they can chain anything you might try anyways, and the opponent can't summon anything.

So they added another Solo Gate (Weather Painters) and also gave away 1K gems for reaching 20 million downloads. And I refuse to complain about 1200 gems, even if Painters are just not my style of play at all.

Also, they apparently datamined a potential N/R only Event, which... I am ready for that shit.

That's definitely an option, yeah. However, there are some good, if annoying, control decks that are mostly N/R. Like Yosenjus, Pacifis, or Timelords. That said, I'm pretty sure it will still end up being dominated by some absolute horse shit and Self-OTK decks.

Bro, back when I was playing thunder dragons someone did that to me. I almost messed it up because I had so much I could do. Its basically an auto win though if you have the outs.

Edit: I used the 1000 free gems to yolo pull on the Thunder dragon packI got everything I needed to remake it! We are back!

I am amazed at how few people carry backrow removal beyond a single target effect. However, the True Draco player in me appreciates that, because it means when they pop Skill Drain, I can just flip Monarchs Erupt and nothing really changes for them.

I got really lucky today while trying to pull extra deck monsters for my Yosenju deck. Not only did I pull both of the ones I was looking for (Ancient Warriors Oath and Fire Fist Tiger King) I also randomly pulled one that I wasn't shooting for but really wanted (Black Rose Moonlight Dragon) and pulled enough extra UR's to dust them and finally craft Called By The Grave... all while spending only 3k gems.

Backrow heavy decks aren't that common, Heavy storm is banned, Giant trunade is banned, Feather duster is limited, red reboot is limited, Lightning storm is only good going 2nd, and not all decks like twin twisters discard cost.

I won all three of my duels for daily missions today and they were all perfect examples of Master DUels bad endgame. First duel I maxx c my opponent so they do nothing and get destroyed. Duel 2 was against sky strikers and I drew imperial order, obviously they instantly quit. Duel Three was almost close it was my zombie world eldlitch vs zombie world syncro. They went first and got savage dragon and herald out. Long story short I manage to get them to negate a eldlitch trap search at end phase then flip up skill drain once they used their last negate.

Three duels, three overpowered staples. At this point is master duel ever going to get a different ban list or will it only ever be event formats?

As a person who is pretty casual with YGO, what makes Master Duel different and/or better than Duel Links?

As a Draco player I love facing Eldlich. Like a game of chess with each of us slowly removing pieces from one another.

Is there any N or R Kaiju? Does Lava Golem also belongs to 'kaiju' group or not, seeing it needs 2 monsters on opponent side to be summoned.

a.k.a. suggest some kaiju-like cards for my synchro deck. Gameciel is UR and I'm not sure if I'm willing to part with my UR CP after my foolishness before.

Technically, Lava Golem and Sphere Mode Ra are not Kaijus. Kaiju is a specfic archetype with some support cards.

Ra is part of the God card archetype and I don't believe Lava Golem is a part of any archetype.

However, they effectively do the same role that Kaijus play just with the ability to remove more cards.
