I'm saying I think these people parked votes but didn't put much effort into pressuring anyone as I didn't feel you or Sultan had any substantial pressure at any point. That's not to say no one tried at all but that's just how it felt.

I can't pressure Ben by myself. I have my vote, if others want to help me pressure him that would be super.

So imo if we actually think BCT is scum I think we should end the day early. I believe that dragging the day out 48 additional hours when the lynch is set will just kill our enthusiasm for the game. I'm not saying hammer right away, but I don't think we should go the full 72. So we need to decide is this scum or is this pressure gone bad?

To me personally the claim is obviously fake. Now I will say for someone who is afraid of the mafia mechanic, which BCT is, fakeclaiming tracks.

However, there is the problem of why you think that claim presented in that way is going to get people to unvote you. That to me doesn't track. That to me does seem like fishing for counterclaims and puts some weight on the theory that the focus on the mafia mechanic is because you are in fact mafia.

That's why I said redo it. You have the power. Save yourself. FIGHT.

If you're Town, then part of the game is dealing with suspicion. It will always come your way. If you're somebody like SBell or Sultan, then it will come your way every game. Especially if you manage to hold up well enough as Scum but nearly as well as Town.

Getting mistakenly accused is annoying, yes. When Ulti mislynched me last game, I was quite frustrated. But I also did not handle the suspicion well either, and that led to my mislynch.

If you're Town:

1. Be honest.
2. Take a deep breath, or a step away from the game and return when you're ready.
3. Look at your posts as if there is reason to find suspicion in them, and figure out who voting you can have their suspicion assuaged by you explaining their misread, and try to figure out whose suspicion might not actually make sense.
4. See who has commented on your train without hopping on it or outright defending it - Scum will defend a mislynch as much as they'll help one, so that's not always alignment-indicating - see who's lurking at the edges.

If you're Scum:

1. Die

It was more indirect stuff: you answering for H B and making excuses for his point about the nightkill, bringing Ben back into the discussion.

But I have to walk 'hard' back anyway since I noticed I read one of your posts wrong.
For some reason I thought your talk about BCT fishing for a counterclaim was you saying BCT fakeclaimed on purpose to fool scum somehow.
I dont know why I thought that made more sense than scumBCT claiming to lure out the real townRB.

Honestly I feel like scum might simply not have the mindset to not want to fakeclaim considering how it was always used by scum to avoid heat.
They cant be endangered by the anticlaim mechanics if they are in control of it after all.

I should add that I do think BCT is the best lynch at this moment.

If only I could get everyone to respond to inquiries in 20 seconds I would be unstoppable.

So, reading the first post of the game, I see what bct was trying to do, but given that I apparently have 5 votes on me I think being truthful is the best plan here and say no, I am not a full time role blocker.

I also think it was a dumb as hell claim

Started reading up but got to a lost I wanted to quote and figured I should wait till I get to my computer so I don't end up posting 7 times in a row

I hope it's from season 1.

Poor BCT... I was not ready to lynch BCT and anyone still on the plum spot id ask you to reset and let plum get settled i before doing anything.

Scum red sees town BCT is tilting and puts pressure on him for an easy lynch.

It makes more sense than town red putting a vote on someone he just said was likely town.

I mean to me if you vote BCT at that point you need to think he's scum.

The way he phrased it though it reads more as a pressure vote.

But pressure is attained at that point. You've no need to apply more.

Idk of ive seen lea scum more than once but if I remember loud Lea is town Lea

I don't agree he was fully tilted yet. Note the dumb claim didn't come until after Red's vote either.

It makes more sense to give him some time to actually play than to punish him for not playing with only 3 minutes of giving him time to react, imo.

Like yes red punishing someone for not playing is completely reasonable but I don't think you jump that quickly to doing so if you have a gut town read. Especially not on someone like BCT who is volatile.

Of course red bussing is possible too but I do think BCT as tilted town trying to game the mechanic with a bad fakeclaim is more likely given plum walked it back.

Also keep in mind imo red has in effect "kept his head down" with the logic of his posts-- if BCT flips scum, well, red never said he was scum. Red said he thought he was town and then punished him for not playing.

I would feel better about red's vote if red had flipped to him being scum to be honest. That at least is taking a stand.
