Well whatever decided to afk at my iron farm. Caused my computer to lag like crazy. So I turned off one module. Still caused lag. Turned off another module. Works perfectly fine but now I only have one module running. x_x

Let the iron farm run for a few hours while I watched a movie. Think I'm gonna add a couple more beacons to the base. I do want to eventually make a diamond beacon and an emerald beacon. Maybe a Netherite beacon. Idk. I do have a full block of Netherite I got from my Bastion raids last weekend. Maybe a 1 layer Netherite beacon and I'll expand it slowly over the years.

I spent my evening breaking and replacing lecterns to reset librarian inventories. I think some of the existing librarians here may have some 'accidents' to free up space for new librarians.

Went back to get the second horse after taking the first one to my base. Thought I spotted it, approached it. It multiplied and I managed to let all 4 horses survive. Oh my God I was not expecting ANY of this.

Just for decoration. You can wear them too like the Wither Skeleton and Ender Dragon heads.

Villager in the raid farm somehow got killed despite being surrounded entirely by non-spawnable blocks. Not sure what happened there but I can't be bothered to ferry another one out there right now so I guess that farm will be out of service until I run low on totems.

It is snapshot day my dudes. New design and textures for vexes to make them look more like allays. Also more changes and additions to the creative menu. And a new block! Essentially its a bamboo log. You no longer use 4 bamboo to craft a plank, now you use 9 bamboo to craft a log. It can be stripped like other logs, and it can be used to craft 2 bamboo planks.

I was bored and decided to dry out this massive water filed cave that is near my base. Dried it out from around 65 down to 15 and then ended up at the top of a massive cave complex that, as far as I know, I haven't been in yet. I don't think I'll explore it from the side, I'll try tunneling over to it from the caves I have explored so I have a relatively clear path back.

It is snapshot day my dudes! And boy what a snapshot it is! You can now get Piglin heads by killing them with charged creeper explosions. Note blocks play mob sounds if a mob head is on them. Chiseled bookshelves now allow you to click a slot to place/take out a book. You can now fill in an area with a desired biome with a command. New telemetry data worldloaded and worldunloaded are sent to Mojang to better gauge how people play Minecraft by sending session start and end times to Mojang.... make of that what you will. And there are a handful of technical changes to try and improve performance. Also some Nether mob farms are being nerfed.

Finally sat down to play some more after more than a week. Building a Creeper farm out in the middle of the ocean, when a trident drowned spawned and started throwing it at me. BAM second trident get :D

Chiseled bookshelves now allow you to click a slot to place/take out a book.

this is probably the best change, since now you can do custom art

It would be really cool if chiseled bookshelves contributed to enchantment tables, and if you have enchanted books in them it changes the weights so those enchantments are more likely to appear.

Okay Creeper farm finished, I tested it and it works. So time to go afk. Unfortunately it's kind of also a spider farm, but that's fine, I do need string too to make more scaffolding. Wish there was a way to make this just creepers but that's not really viable with this design. It's gonna be good though.

I started a modded game the other day, I cant find enough gold for stuff i need. But I did find a dungeon that gave me 38 diamonds through gear. (and more diamonds still left for me to take). Also need lots of redstone. Hopefully i can find some Red Orchids, so I can start growing red stone, but that is so damn slow.

What design are you using? Most of the things I see use slabs in the spawning area to make sure there is no place big enough for spiders to spawn.

Im using the one with dispensers with water buckets and detectors. I have 6 platforms stacked on each other in the middle of the ocean. The water pushes the mobs off the platform onto a killing platform with magma blocks and a hopper minecart underneath to pick up the drops and put them in chests.

Edit: I did try a while back to use a design with cats and slabs. That one straight up did not work. I think after afking at that one for like 3 hours I got like 80 gunpowder total, it was pretty bad.

Oh no I think I afk'd too high. the farm didn't run at all for the past 2 hours. =/

So funny story. That wool farm I made months ago. I was refilling the sheers and I was like "why does it always feel like I come out of this with extra sheers?" and I realized I never made a light blue sheep lol so finally, three months later the wool farm is actually complete!

So I'd been trying to build a kelp farm to generate bone meal to power my sugarcane farm and I just could not get it running. Tore it down and rebuilt it multiple times, triple confirmed my chunk outlines, just couldn't figure it out....

Turns out I had planted sea grass instead of kelp *facepalm* I have no idea how I managed to not notice that multiple times as I built and rebuilt this thing. Once I corrected that it works fine.

Finally got around to shipping a new villager out to the raid farm and getting that working again. Nice to have my source of totems back but I do wish it generated less trash loot, or at least there was a better way of dealing with it.

I need to work on my farming machines that will produce me unlimited metal. And red stone, but I havent found the item I need to work on red stone or enderpearls. Blaze will be fine though.

That or I can download a mod that I can exploit for more metal.

4 gold + 1 gold stick = 4 gold gears
4 gold gears + 4 sand = 16 gold

I got a machine set up that gets me unlimited sand (and glass, as glass is very good in the mods im using)
Once I got a setup for tons of gold, i just get an item called "flawless calculator" which goes to
4 gold = 1 diamond

So I built a giant bubble column to get the star trader achievement and it wasn't until I was done that it occurred to me that, since it is just sitting in front of my house, that eventually I'm probably going to want to tear this thing down...all 1,038 blocks of it. That is going to be incredibly tedious.

I should maybe do a quick tour of my place, its gotten to be a bit of a mess due to creepers blowing up through walls... so i had to make walls extra thick and or a barrier wall.

1.19.3 pre-release is out! They are planning to launch 1.19.3 on December 6!
Changes include:
Fillbiome command
Player heads have a field for making sounds when on a note block
Entity sub-predicate types. I don't know what this means. I assume something with commands.
Bug fixes.

And pre-release 2 is already out lol
Mostly just more bug fixes. There will probably also be a 1.19.4 with even more bug fixes before 1.20 is out.
