Anyways, this topic is for discussion of all the various games where you put in your time and money effort in hopes of recruiting the hero or waifu of your dreams... yes, welcome to the wonderful world of gacha games! So let's continue our discussion: what gacha games are you playing or looking forward to these days? Which do you spend the most time on, and which are you just collecting login bonuses in until you feel like actually playing them again? Just started Nikke - many issues, but I'm enjoying the gameplay so giving it a chance.

Arknights finally has Anihilation skip tickets at long fucking last. Plus the 2nd episode of the anime came out a day or so ago and we got to see Nearl being her badarse self! Plus a great introduction to some of the villains and their powers.

Also honestly, the optimal gacha experience is usually starting up an old gacha going through some major event imo.

Shop completely cleaned out in FGO's Imaginary Scramble event. Story done too. If I could just get that CE drop, I can face smash my way through the challenge quest...

Just picked up the grail myself. Pretty good BB Channel.

And Gogh herself is really quite amazing. Can't compare to Abby, of course, but she might be second-best Foreigner once all is said and done.

I've more or less finished mapping everything out, but I need to clean up all the enemy nodes, since I'm only at 230k points. Naturally, this means that I haven't done the CQ yet either.

Also, I haven't gotten a single CE drop whatsoever. Granted, I did most of my farming on the beginner node for spiritron orbs, since I needed them to 10/10/10 Summer Illya, but still.

Taking a break from Priconne, but by the looks of it I might uninstall when Neural Cloud hits (sorry, Cal, you can kick Onii-chan from the clan if you want).

Not playing anything. Since quitting CounterSide back in August due to sucking at it too much, I havent found anything to stick with. Since then Ive tried Tower of Fantasy, Eroica, Path to Nowhere, and Nikke. Dropped all of except Eroica on the first day. Path to Nowhere didnt even make it to the first rolling. Eroica lasted a few days.

I was thinking of trying Neural Cloud, but I havent played GFL in 3 years. Dont think there is anything else upcoming Im interested in.

It's spin-off of prequel piece of lore. There aren't much connection from GFL to PNC, apart from some Dolls at the forefront.

Really wish the equipment RNG in Epic 7 was better. It's harder to get a good single piece of equipment than pulling for a 5 star.

Least the game is really generous with its currency.

I dropped WIXOSS MV since the last topic started, so I'm down to only playing PriConne and Revue Starlight. If you count Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel as a gacha too, then that as well.

I only played Arknights for about a week before dropping it (didn't like the gameplay) but I liked the characters and world enough to check out the anime, and I've been enjoying it so far.

...And it's a one-time only fight, apparently, so no recording for me. Probably for the best, given how many times I had to reset.

On paper, it's a neat fight, but god, is the AI a bitch. If the enemy isn't focusing on one of your party members with rockets and turrets all at once, it's your damn AI teammates not taking cover when they should.

I'm ready to beat up stupid sexy Douman.

I just borrowed a Spishtar with MLB CE for that.

Still had to emergency Castoria NP twice because I didn't prep for needing debuff clears or break bar Jalter turning into a one-shot machine.

You can tap your controlled character to put your entire team on cover. That's pretty key in beating that EX fairly handily.

The green unavoidable missiles are still the worst.

Yeah you have to basically full focus the rocket launcher usually. You fight the same boss in one of the modes in the thingmagys and in that one, it's really hard to kill those things in 1 wave, making it usually impossible to beat without some levels. I mean I guess I should also try to actually time my invincibility. That's another way to do it I guess

EoM's co-op event had us unga bunga the powered-up boss with boosted ST after MSM; use only skills and get insta-killed if our MP reaches zero; and the hardest, get 300 hit combo so we can actually kill the boss.

The 300 combo one, as expected, had nobody attempting it. Apparently not everyone actually leveled a bow user, even though you can just use Lv 1 bow user to help build hit count.

I knew before my first post in this topic that I dont need to be up on the story of Girls Frontline to play Neural Cloud, so the reason I was going to skip it was because it would strengthen my never ending urge to go back to GFL that I had successfully ignored for the last 3 years.

Yesterday I finally caved and I think Ive made a huge mistake. 3 year old echelons are definitely not up to snuff for even easy new stuff. I went to play the new event (and not read the story since Im not caught up yet) because the reddit said Normal should just require a 5x linked ARSMG & RFHG team of any quality, a new player joining during the event should be able to clear normal. Everything is going fine until the last fight of chapter 3. Im fighting an obelisk and suddenly my whole back line is badly damaged. I have no idea what happened. I didnt see anything hit them. Then in another map M950A goes from full health to single digit health in one hit. Again I have no idea what hit her. There was no marker and the enemies hadnt even come into range yet.

Welp. I have to say, because I have Noah, the supposed 2nd best tank, I didn't notice this at all, but one of these many bugs is that Ludmilla's taunt does nothing atm. Checking the stats, I have to say it's probably right

Also the supposed best character is the best because her charge is bugged? Like if you hold charge and then enter burst mode, I think it gives her a 250% boost, which is why her damage just seems more obscenely high compared to everything else

Anyways, buggy game, and pretty hard to know if you truly are bugged

Priconne JP is getting playable Mana (aka Kaiser Insight) soon, unlockable using memory shards and mana like Karin is. The timing is especially amusing because NA server should be getting the Kaiser raid event later this month to cap off the first story arc.

Hmmm thats intriguing. I might consider coming back to PriConne for her, depending on how long the wait is. I dont quite remember what made me drop the game twice.

Edit: Wait I remember. I had the most cursed luck with my pulls lol. But if shes gonna be a shard thing, that might not be an issue.

NA is three years behind JP.

Gacha definitely won't be an issue to get her, but EX characters are resource intensive. 3k memory shards (any combination of characters) and 500k mana to buy, and Mana specifically will require you to have unlocked Karin first.

If you're thinking about coming back specifically for Mana, it would probably be better to have a lot of time to prepare, since the EX characters are designed as endgame excess resource sinks. IIRC you liked Christina, and we have an X!Christina banner for about 2 more days I think? So it might be a good time for you to start a new account if you don't want to pick up your old one (new accounts get Neneka/Muimi/Christina gala for a few days after starting, which is good for rerolls).

Spoilers for... the first like 30 min of this game. I didn't notice this and it's honestly cool af.

Also some maths came out from the Chinese gaming boards, and it's confirmed that attack boost in this game is ultra OP, while crit dmg boost is hilariously undertuned such that every character who has one should probably be considered bottom of the dps race.

Base crit dmg is 150%, and crit dmg buffs are additive to that 150%, meaning you need to have a healthy amount of crit chance (also additive) and dmg buffs in tandem to get any decent effect out of them. Meanwhile, in a streak of genius, they somehow just made attack buff a flat out overall dmg multiplier, which means it's de facto the best type of damage buff in this game by nearly tenfolds. In fact, every other type of damage buff thus far are all additive to some base, except attack buff.

If you're having trouble with a stage where you're close in power levels, maybe considering Synching units that have attack buffs instead.

Also man Ch 7 boss was the shit. Ch 6 boss was great too but Ch 7 and then the cutscene after was... whew. They're going somewhere with this, even though I can't say that I didn't see it coming entirely. Snow White is great too but sadly she a pilgrim and

Damn you're unlucky dude. I did like 50 rolls so far have have a handful of SSRs

I got decent luck, and then my last 120 rolls or so had 2 SSRs, both were dupes, which isn't the worst thing I guess

I'm still mainly playing Azur Lane because it's dummy thicc and I'm stuck with a 32gb phone for now, bleh. Pulled Peter Strasser, Prinz Heinrich and Weser, so I got pretty much everything I wanted from Inverted Orthant rerun. Also got Akagi Idol and Akagi-Chan, the latter of which I'll likely retire because her gimmick and existence in general are not things I'm willing to tolerate in my dock! And I'm thinking I'll take a break if I manage to pull Brunhilde whenever Operation Convergence reruns so I can actually try something else for a change.

Ok I'm at 80 pulls with 0 SSR, then the dangest thing happened... My random friend point pull... had an SSR, which is 2%. It's 4% for SSR on the regular gachas, which means you should get an SSR every 25 pulls on average. I'm heavily below average, and I just realized that one of the 2 SSRs I got in 130 pulls was actually not from my pulls but from the gold shards.

Ngl, this is one of the worst gacha bad streaks I've been on, probably since I spent 100 pulls of nothing on AS. I almost remembered why I quit gachas

Sadly, I've been playing World Flipper on the side during its Re:Zero collab, and I pulled both Rem and Emilia in like 30 pulls, which is highly above average. I don't really care about that game so I'm sad that I just have a shitload of pulls left over on that game. Compared to that, getting pulls F2P in Nikke is pure pain, and it hurts a lot every time I see nothing from the pulls

Also uhh... use this site for the tier list, if you even care about it. I think it's a far better guide for actually getting help beating some of the harder stages.

Don't use the Prydwen one. Despite a bunch of things having come out on this game that basically cements a lot of characters are borderline useless and bad, there are quite a lot of them on the S tier for their list.

Also that tier list has Isabel on Tier D, even though every other sites and sources based on the new discoveries basically put her as the best unit in the game next to Liter. I would feel bad for anybody who might've rerolled off her
