So I finished my quest of revisting the whole map, trying to pick up every single Pokeball, check every nook and cranny and beating every trainer (that I could find, at least, it was a blind run)

So during the initial run of the game and the revisit part I-
Got 1763 Gimmighoul Coins (which means I evolved one)
Found 165 out of 171 different TMs (with 3 of them craftable, 3 still can't be crafted)
Found a total of 527 TMs (probably around 10 of them from raids)
Somehow still miss at least 2 sword seals or whatever they are called (two of legendary rooms unlocked)

Only found those evolution hints-
Primeape - Need to use a certain move - figured it out easily because the evolution is ghost type and it learns a new move. The only annoying part was figuring out it need to level up after meeting the requirement. I mean..why? It's not like G Farfatch'd had to level up to evolve :/

Charcadet - Need to use one of two pieces or armor - only had to figure out where to get one, but the evolution is obvious

Pawmot - Need to walk a lot with it. With that I also figured other "move based" Pokemon like Bramblin probably evolve like that too
Only question is...maybe there is a Pokemon that evolve by defeating a certain number of Pokemon during the Let's Go instead of walking steps? I dunno

Now there is also a Pokemon that evolves by defeating another Pokemon. But they didn't say which Pokemon need to defeat another, or who is that the another Pokemon
So this hint is pretty much useless because I didn't see any Pokemon dex entry mentioning some rivalry (Besides Tinkatuff and Tinkaton eating Pawniard, Bisharp and Corviknight for breakfast)

I have a good home lined up for a solid chunk of them. There is also one more Vaporeon in the next box.

I mean the only exclusive I won't be able to get multiple copies of easily is Miraidon >_> did I really pay $60 for one legendary
Maybe it will be worth it for the DLC

I dunno. IN SwSh you had to play them twice to get all Pokemon as you could only choose between one form of Urshifu, one Regi, or one legendary horse
But they were not version exclusive
So you could just replay the original version you bought on a seperate profile and that's it, no need for the other version

TIL I was a total dead weight in many, many raids.

Similarly, I'm sure there are a lot of people unaware that pure status moves don't affect the boss while the shield is up (ie stuff like Fake Tears). Secondary effects like from Spirit Break and Chilling Water are still good though.

And Violet beaten too
Tried to rush it, skipped trainers and wild Pokemon so sometimes had to grind if I faced a tough boss
Total play time is 14:27

And with that I have finally seen all new Pokemon...besides one
What's the big deal with Finizen evolution? Is there a trainer somewhere that has it and I just missed it? or for some reason they decided to make it the most hidden Pokemon of all?
I assume I think how it looks like because one of the towns had a cardboard statue (or whatever it's called) of it and a NPC talks about "the macho one"
What I don't get though is why the Pokedex silhouette looks like a regular Finizen but I will figure it out soon

From what I can tell from the datamine pastebins, no trainer uses Finizen's evo. It can be found in 5* raids, though.

Combination of this and what I complained about in the above post makes sorting this such a pain in the ass

Really won't surprise me if instead of dedicated sprites, they just took the 3D models and shrinked them so that's why they load so slow

So uh one change I was not spoiled on and just found out about is....
Pokemon no longer need to hold Incense to breed their baby forms

I am not sure I like this. The incenses were always easily obtainable, and the only problem I had with them is to always Google if Azurill is a Wave or Sea Incense
But I guess it matters if someone want to breed a competitive Pokemon? but then they could just breed the base form instead, no? or "if the baby didn't learn X move and evolved, that Pokemon can't learn that move anymore" still a thing?

Downside is that I wanted a Chansey for my Living Dex but now I need to evolve Happiny instead
Thanksfully it's just a level up with a item and not a happiness evolution

Chansey is pretty common, can be caught at lots of places. Why do you need to evolve one?

If baby learns move X but evolved form doesnt, once you forget it you cant remember it anymore is still a thing, yes

I thought they got rid of that in SwSh, which was the main reason why Arcanine was so OP during the main game. They didn't actually get rid of that here, or did it even work that way with the babies in SwSh?

Edit: Pikachu has Pichu's entire learnset as moves it learns at level 1, so I assume the rest of the babies work the same way. Too lazy to look up the rest of them.

I imaging a lot of people will intentionally avoid voting for older Pokemon. I didn't even expect them to be on the poll.

Tinkaton's design is great. The Pokedex entry definitely helps but Tinkaton would be popular even without it.

I was annoyed at first as well, but mints are everywhere to the point I don't even bother breeding for nature unless it happens by accident during the process.

I never liked that the mints only changed which stats they would affect, but the Pokemon's original nature would stay the same.

Did that change?

Yeah they still keep their original nature, which does sort of annoy my inner pedant but ah well!

I'd like to find a Klawf outbreak someday. It's an awesome shiny, but sadly it doesn't seem like there's a good way to isolate it. afaict, every place Klawf can spawn, Nacli can as well.

I liked it when it was revealed, but over the course of the game, it ended up becoming one of my favorites. until it gets hit below half health

I have about 20 more that i'll hold onto for another day or two if anyone needs. They aren't perfect but they are nearly perfect which should be good enough for building a raid slowbro if you don't want to waste the time breeding one yourself.

Surprise trade twice in a row, got a Scorbunny (one male, one female) each time. I love scorbunny though, so I'm okay with that.

And Three Segment Dudunsparce in 33rd try

I found that as long as I had a damage dealer with me, cereuledge with clear smog was a game changer.

Just started my second playthrough, still debating if I'm going for an all ground team or an all fighting team.

I'm really enjoying this Gen as well. I've only had it for a couple weeks though, picked it up as a Christmas Gift so my long term opinion might not be formed yet.

Yeah I like the endgame of the raids too. Some of them need actual thought.
