I'll never forget the time in DPPlt I encountered a Shiny Graveler in Victory Road that used Explosion :(

is it possible to get multiple ice stones? i got the one in the mountains but havent found any others. auction house i guess?

I apparently still have one left over after using I think it was 2 that needed them (oh apparently Glaceon too but I caught them). I think I just found them as sparklies on the ground like I have for the other evo stones

... "pokeballs" is confusing me because I think it just means the yellow sparkles that aren't pokeballs and other articles are saying that too

i was wondering around picking up the pokeball items and didnt see any sparkles :/

The only set locations according to Serebii are on a little outcrop above the pathway just north of the Dalipazo Passage Pokemon Center, and for doing one of the snowboarding courses after beating the Glaseado Gym.

I'm not sure if there's anything that sums up Game Freak's design philosophy better than the fact we had buyable stones in Gen 1 and then in nearly every other generation they've gone out of their way to make getting Stone as annoying as possible.

You can still buy a lot of them. Just not Ice for some reason

yeah limited evolution items are fucking awful. stones, things held when trading, and those other random whatsits needed. i was fully expecting there to only be 1 charcadet item

To be fair, gen 1 had limited moon stones still.

I think it's fine this game, they're relatively easy to find all of them.

Just snagged a shiny Toedscool, my second full odds shiny. Little bugger tried to run away from me while I was trying to determine if it was shiny or just looked off because of shadows, but it didn't get away.

And now I have to choose whether to ditch my current Toedscruel in favor of the hot pink variant...

Toedscruel is one of the better Gen IX shinies, so I'm pretty happy about this. And that it happened shortly after giving up on a Wooper outbreak makes it even better.

Can anyone give me tips?
How can I make a mon good enough to beat it and who should it be?
I am at the post game so I can easily solo 4 star raids (and maybe 5 star raids too?)

Also need to unlock 6 star raids ugh

When I was rushing to build a Pokemon for the previous Charizard raids I went with an Assault Vest Sylveon with max SpA and SpD (this is sub-optimal, Sylveon wants a bit of HP as well). I was mostly just spamming Moonblast and the cheer skills (I didn't have Pixiliate). Allies in Charizard raids tend to be pretty good. As long as you aren't hitting the floor every turn, you should be able to find a group to win with.

What I used was a Dachsbun with a SpD nature, used one bottle cap to give it 31 IV SpD, (didn't bother with EVs but it might be worthwhile) Yawn, Misty Terrain (don't bother using in the raid if all allies are already Fairy type though), Helping Hand, Play Rough

Play Rough is mostly just in case of emergency, you should Yawn at the start,, use cheers to buff/heal allies, then mostly use Helping Hand

Grimmsnarl is also a solid choice for support. Prankster with Light Screen/Fake Tears/Spirit Break

I have 6 Pokemon for raids (8 counting Miraidon and the Zard but they aren't great).

Iron Hands, Azu, Gholdengo, Flutter Mane, Umbreon and Perrserker

Between them I feel fairly solid in any given situation

Doesn't Misty Terrain still help in preventing confusion/burn?

That's true and I had completely forgotten it even did that

think I'm probably done playing until the next unique raid event, trying to play 5/6 star raids online is completely miserable. Either you are unable to join and have to wait two minutes to refresh the page, you get paired with absolute morons and waste even more time losing, or the connection is so absolutely fucked that you can't even do anything for half the raid. If you could see what level a raid was on your map I would still do those solo, but having to actually travel to each one is more effort than I'm willing to put in when 70 percent of the time it's for nothing.

When looking for raids, have you tried this?:

That doesn't help with getting good allies, but it can help with looking for battles without having to wait for the refresh.

So regarding Pawmo evolution we talked about a few days ago

But........I tried that and that fucker didn't evolve for a long time so I gave up and checked online
I am not sure which of those is correct, maybe both, maybe neither-
1.You need to send it out with the ZR Button, not the R button
2.You need to do it in one sitting. If Pawmo gets back into the Pokeball, the steps reset

I'm still not convinced that number 2 of that is true. I think people were just not counting right or were not following number 1.

I'm pretty sure it's not 2. My Rellor was so slow that it often went back in the ball, but it still evolved.

That's 2 shiny Chanseys I've gotten now just with regular ham sandwiches EV farming

Thank god because damn shiny Blissey is ass so at least I get my green Chansey back. It sucks enough when shinies barely change but it's truly frustrating when an early evo is a good shiny but the final evo is like a 0.005% hue tint

*edit* oh wow and a 2nd shiny Hopip on the sidelines, always nice to get 2 shinies back-to-back with nothing else but the Shiny Charm boost

I'm just flying over to my Charizard den and on the way what do I find but ANOTHER shiny Deerling. I don't know why I got the urge to stop and check their flowers but yup that's a pink flowered Summer Deerling among a group of yellow flowered Deerlings welp, even the season of shiny deerling is the same as the one I originally caught

so in less than an hour of gameplay (I paused for a while since my earlier post) I've stumbled on 3 shinies that I already previously encountered, without any shiny boost rate beyond Shiny Charm

Another type of misinformation is about unlocking 6 tier raids
I beat my first 5 tier raid and it was unlocked for me
So maybe it's not about number of 5 star raids beaten, but rather participated?

Makes it seem like they put Florges in the same event for that exact purpose.

I got my own Ceruledge from raids... after so many tries because those filled up fast and always with people who die immediately, but I wanted my own for the eventual shiny built charcadet I eventually catch even though their shinies really aren't noticeable
