I must be getting bots again after the reset to 20, Im seeing the most nonsensical plays. The AI doesnt know how to handle Storm I think. Destroy decks where they play Deathlok and Carnage ASAP and then play Bucky and Nova afterward. Games that were clearly over but they played their turn 6 card somewhere that wouldnt have won even if I played nothing

Been playing Electro into Lamentis-1.

You're already playing a game that doesn't need a lot of cards and wants to just smash haymakers - your opponent not being able to card advantage you really amps that up.

Cut Jubilee/Infinaut for Moon Girl/Nick Fury which already pair well with Dino.

Got this with the random variant from the track

While Nick Fury is pretty photogenic this is his best variant for now and I will be using it. Using Nick Fury on Lamentis-1 is a great idea I may have to steal (been using my Omega Red deck mostly which also works okay since it's fairly easy to crush a lane with that terrain in play)

Goose has finally been obtained, now I just need Brood and I can make this deck that still won't be as good as DevilDino deck anyways lol

Yeah just showed up for me as well! Very interesting you can't buy this one with gold but instead a direct purchase.

The price on these bundles is pretty bad I must say. Even if the value is good (relatively) paying 30 dollars for 2 cards and some credits is silly.

I LOVE the Gambit Variant. I don't think I can rationalize spending $30 on it though. The value of the credits is about $20 of that though and I also am not terribly fond of the default rogue art so this is a good upgrade on that.

I dunno we'll see. I'll think about it.

Also the Storm Variant is already in my mailbox. I think I like default Storm better though.

Ugh, it kills my mood when I fight a bot. I lock my opponent into a playing field where they literally can't win no matter what they do and they keep playing anyway.

That's weird, I love playing bots. It's like a free 8 cubes every time.

Yeah as soon as I realize its a bot Im snapping no matter what the board state is, lol.

got sera in my shop, went ahead and bought the season pass for silver surfer.

Sera + Silver Surfer is really strong. Dropping 3 3-drops on turn 6 with silver surfer last is pretty killer, especially when one of them is brood. plus there's so many disruptive 3 drops - killmonger, juggernaut, storm

Of course Sue showed up to canonically complete the theme but come on

You definitely are. I'm at 24 and I either get the absolute dumbest bot ever, or some hyper minmaxer. Takes a few rounds to figure out which one you're against. I forgot how boring it was to play against the bots.

Okay wow this move deck I just played against seems nearly unbeatable without Cosmo being used at exactly the right time, or Prof X locking something down

It used Beast and Falcon to keep collecting Iron Fist and Human Torch back to the hand, plus your other typical move deck cards like Cloak and Vulture. They also had Agent 13 I think just in case it pulls up something powerful

New event has started

Play matches or watch the Hero video up to 100x a day and then deposit your total into the records page

If the player base hits certain milestones we all get gold and credits and a new Storm avatar

So this is what I have for a discard deck. I just got Hela and switched out Wolverine for her, but I'm thinking I could probably drop Ghost Rider instead. Anyone got any suggestions?

If you have Invisible Woman she helps the deck quite a bit.

You play Invisible Woman on 2 and then throughout the game you put 2 discards into her lane. Then on turn 6 you put Hela in the 4th spot so she pulls back the discarded cards.

It's important to play them in the IW lane because they won't trigger until the very end of the game so they won't discard Hela.

But if you swap to that deck you'd probably want to put some bigger boys for Hela to discard like Hulk, Infinaut, Giganto, etc.

Hela doesn't really seem like she works in your current deck very much. I'd switch her for Chavez so that your Dracula always has something big to discard on turn 6.

Also maybe take a look at Lockjaw Discard:You're trying to discard swarm and Apoc as much as possible to buff your Morbius on the board. You can also use 0 cost Swarms on Lockjaw to get more discards (just make sure to keep at least 1 Swarm in your hand).

I don't have IW, Moon Knight or Hell Cow, the latter 2 being cards I've considered adding when I get them. I've thought about adding some big boys to my deck to buff Hela but I'm not sure who to drop.

Yeah Hela can work without IW but it's a lot bigger gamble. You basically just have to leave if you ever discard Hela.

Literally checked my store after that and Invisible Woman was in the shop.

Haha nice! Yeah that deck was pretty strong for a while but it's really easy to counter by just putting a Cosmo in the IW lane.

It's also rough if you don't draw Hela but plenty of decks are like that.

if I'm running a deck with Cosmo I literally always drop it if IW shows up, and usually at Dark Dimension too, though obviously that one can backfire if they have initiative

I just got Moon Knight as well. Now I gotta decide between that and Gambit hm

The only real heavy hitters I have are Infinaut, Hulk and Death.

In my experience there are sometimes I don't want to destroy stuff with Gambit but I pretty much always want to discard a card from the opponent's hand.

Death is great in Hela decks because you can use Lady Sif to guarantee discard Death when Hela is in your hand.

Yea I've noticed that, and I'm running ghost rider for those situations when hela gets discarded early. Sure it brings back things before I'm ready but often it will leave someone like infinaut in my hand for Dracula.

I dont have Death, Hela, Moon Knight, Gambit, or Invisible Woman, so my discard deck is ass, lol

Sandman can also fit into discard decks with Hela because all of your discards are basically 2 for 1 value with Hela.

But at 4 energy he's still a little too slow most of the time. If Sandman were 3 energy I think he'd see a lot more play.

What do you think of Electro in that regard, or do you think the strength of Sandman is that he inhibits both players?

Yeah you want to limit your opponent to playing 1 card a turn meanwhile you're basically playing 2 cards a turn with Hela bringing back all of your discards.
