How did he get 22 on kraven there

Kraven counts cards moving on both sides so if both players are playing Move decks he's going to add up pretty fast. That's probably 2 or 3 turns of Kraven being buffed by stuff moving into his lane.

Also if the whole lane moves (Heimdall) that still buffs Kraven as counting as moving.

Oh yea I didn't take into account the other guy playing heimdal as well. I knew Kraven gets buffed by both sides moving just didn't think about that possibility at the time of seeing that.

At the start of turn 4, all of his cards were on the far right. I played thinking he might also play a heimdall, but didn't take into account the effect of my Cloak was still in play, which let him move everything to the middle (all adding to Kraven) then play heimdall and move everything to the left (all adding to Kraven) and also taking into account the effects of MY Heimdall which had moved all of my stuff from the middle to the left. Almost all of Kraven's points are actually specifically from that last turn

Wow that's pretty lucky to pull a series 5 card that early. It's something like 1/400 chance to get a Series 5 card from a cache.

You probably don't have the cards to make him work honestly but I'd be on the lookout for Lockjaw or try to use him in a Destroy deck.

Basically with Lockjaw you want to play cheap on reveal cards and hope they get replaced by big cards like Hulk or Chavez.

I was watching a streamer the other day and I saw he had Vision and Nightcrawler in his Lockjaw deck too which made me feel pretty dumb I never thought of that.

One of the problems with the deck is you can fill up your Lockjaw lane too early. So pulling Vision or Nightcrawler lets you move them away when they get pulled to abuse Lockjaw more.

From what I understand, the strength of Thenos is using his Infinity Stones for an enhanced Zoo deck, not so much the Mad Titan himself

Reached rank 50 and immediately started getting blown the fuck out every 2 out of 3 games again.

I'm like one or two cards away from having several very powerful decks. Wong/Psylocke/Magik would give me TONS of options. Lockjaw is also welcome, and Death certainly would be nice too

Token experiment: Today is Dec 15th, I have 1100 tokens and I just pinned Bast in my shop (6000 tokens).

Assuming they don't give us any free tokens for rewards, I'm curious how long it will take to get 5000 tokens.

I do have series 3 finished already so every time I would have pulled a card it's replaced with 400 tokens I believe.

Oh yeah that changes things significantly, February sounds about right then

Cerebro decks get screwed by so many locations in the game I would not recommend. The idea sounds good on paper but in practice it just ends up being a worse Patriot deck.

So I just unlocked Absorbing Man, and with my Ultron deck I was wondering if I should replace Kazar with him to play after Patriot.

Kazar Pros: +1 to Ultron Bots, Squirrel Girl, Ant-Man, and Ebony Maw; can also be place turn 5; 4 power

Absorbing Man Pros: +2 to Ultron Bots, Squirrels, and all of my no-ability cards; must be played after Patriot; 3 power

I usually end up playing Patriot turn 3, then Kazar turn 4 if I have them, and then on occasion I play Kazar turn 5, but it seems rare I ever do.

Then it's debatable if I even need Squirrel Girl or if I can replace her with someone else too, since she won't get a buff and Ultron Bots are the same as squirrels anyway.

Absorbing man copies On Reveals so he wouldn't copy Patriot's ability.

Yeah that's Mystique that copies Ongoing abilities. Also Absorbing Man is a series 4 card so it's lucky you got him!

I bought him with Tokens and I wasn't really able to make him fit into any of my decks.

Welp, I'll need to wait on Mystique still, so there goes my planning to shake my deck up!

Cerebro 3 or Cerebro 5 seem potentially fun though. It's just about trying deck ideas.

Yeah, I can understand that! I tried Cerebro 2, 3, and 6. I had the most fun with 6 but they're all pretty bad lol.

you'd almost have to use Mister Negative with it, or maybe Wave? To play him on turn 6 and still win would mean you'd need to already have the game won by the end of turn 5, and 9/10 times that means your opponent will retreat

She-Hulk is cool but you'll also get series 3 cards in the shop and they cost 1000 I believe. So it might be better to try to find some series 3 cards you really want instead.

You get tokens randomly from level up boxes but you probably won't get very many until you finish series 3.

Yeah, that's it. Before I finished series 3 I spent all of my gold on credits to level up more but it probably doesn't speed up the process very much so just spend it how you like.

I find that as long as I finish the battle pass I'm ok saving my gold for something worthwhile. I'm almost cl1000

Yeah and I was racing to finish the collection before they started adding new cards. At this point it's probably not even possible to get a full collection without buying every bundle that has collector tokens. New series 5 cards are getting released too fast to get a whole collection.

Damn. Getting the whole collection is going to be rough. I'm just glad I got enough to make workable destroy and discard decks. I think I can consistently push 60 every season with them.

I was surprised Armor didnt stop the new symbiote location.

It doesnt say anything about destroying the cards so why would it? Theyre pretty consistent about their verbs with the one major exception I can think of being Yondu which says remove but the removed card counts as destroyed

I understand making the assumption, since the two cards that are symbiotes have a similar effect and do destroy the other cards.

Yeah and Klyntar was released with Knull and he gets no benefit from it lol

Since the symbiote is a 1-cost its pretty easy to destroy, but thats it yeah

Speaking of Yondu, had a guy keep playing him on the location that returns a card into your hand but I had everything I needed already so snapped when he finally depleted my deck and baited him into giving me 8 cubes lol

You know, in some ways this game gets more frustrating when you have all the cards. Like I'm basically on equal footing with everyone I play, so why am I stuck at rank 55?

Makes me just want to netdeck the best decks because anything I make can't compete I guess

I tend to have that issue in competitive deck building games regardless. I like to build decks they just never seem to work out in anyway, but as soon as I copy paste a top tier deck I'll win a bit.
