If Isquen was telling the truth, he'd be actually trying to convince people. This sort of refusal to interact is pure stalling tactic.

I could have believed he was Town quite easily, but he's certainly not acting like it.

That said, let's assume you are town. And assume you are night vigilante. What makes you know for a fact a supposed day vigilante couldn't exist also?

It is, indeed, Day Vigilante with a modifier. To paraphrase, I have a night action, and at some point later in the day, a shot gets taken using sair action. I have the option to modify the shot during the day.

My line of thinking is: I didnt take that night action night 0, despite having the option to do so, because I dont trust my own day 1 reads still until after a day or so.

If you were Town, you wouldn't still pretend that you think I'm Scum because you think I shot Lopen because I argued with him in the past (which is probably the worst logic anybody has used in a mafia game ever).

If you were Town, you would want a TownHan on your team and you wouldn't be so quick to be dismissive, because the chance of a Town Han is way better than the opportunity to be a stuffy jerk to me for no reason.

If you were Town, you probably wouldn't have said that you think JC and Death are both Town.

Apologies for inactivity on my end. Christmas cookies baking day. Lots of 'em, aaaand I see we have the usual day 1 stuff. Ben making claims and getting the easy votes, Ignorrik, Lopen prodding at the edges of a rabbit hole, and... what the hell? No flowchart?

Han. What would you say about even day SK? I have my thoughts regarding this but want your thoughts on it before I state what I think.

In truth, what I say is that a day-SK becomes revealed pretty quickly when they shoot for a second time. I do think it is important to keep in mind, though, that the command to shoot was hidden.

In truth, would an even day SK draw attention to himself like this? It would be more advantageous to leave Scare alive to draw attention after the day 2 shot happens.

Isquen kind of reminds me of FFXIV mafia here. I was commuter, he countered ninja (which he wasn't) which made no logical sense because ninja and commuter are not the same thing and tried to lynch me for it. Most of his posts made no sense to me and we ended up lynching him (we were both town)

I think Isquen just has a unique way of thinking

So I think Isquen being SK is practically zero.

The way I see this is. A. Scare is scum or SK. Isquen is town. B. Isquen is scum (I'll come back to this) and scare is town or SK. C. Isquen is town. Scare is town or SK.

So a. I don't like scares explanation at all. There is some things I could point to that supports it, but it reeks to me. If Scare is scum, isquen has to be town if this claim is legit.

B. So, isquen as SK doesn't make sense to me, but Isquen as scum is actually plausibly a great play. He makes it known in the open he is going to shoot. It explains an extra kill at night. To him Scare is town or SK, so it's a net positive for scum regardless. He knows he won't get roleblocked by scum, and also if Scare flips town he just goes... never would I have thought there was 2 town vigilantes. He probably avoids scans due to them thinking he would prove himself or not with his shot. He already said he would be going to the target at night so no reason to care if tracked or watched. It's kinda high level misdirection. Question is... is he capable of coming up with it.

Then C. Isquen is actually town. But Scare isn't scum either and this is a possibly unbalanced, experimental game for fun or something like the host told us. And there is probably a good bit of BPs or crap out in the wild also.

But Scare's reaction when Lopen died was definitely keying in to him having done it, so I would say Scare definitely did it.

Especially by Scare, who has heard people mouth off about Lopen in recent Mafia games, and who has toooons of respect for me and MI.

I mean, Scare was the first person to get me mislynched, and he suicided a claim into me to do it.

Scare choosing to Scumshoot Lopen does not fit a sensible profile. At all.

i mean that was our strategy last game as scum, keep lopen alive to sow conspiracy theories, although he eventually started to put things together and think mostly sanely by the end. but i certainly don't think that shot comes from scum. surely by the end of day 1 a more suitable target emerges?
