Still catching up but I will address this along the way because I feel its a littleuncharitable

Death - Avoided taking a stance on Sultan 1.78 which was Scummy.

I thought I was pretty clearly okay with Sultan at that time, not 'stanceless'. I said more to him about him than just post 78 at least.
I cant deny that I am still a bit too gullible. Though I also still think we should not bother with 'Suprak' himself.

Also that isn't in reference to this game, fyi. Reafing that back in my head real quick made me realize that was ambiguous.

Now for the Isquen thing.
My brain tells me to believe the counterclaimer, but he isn't really counterclaiming is he?
Logic would dictate to lynch neither and to just let Isquen shoot Scare. Yet there are plenty of ways that could end up with no results....nor would it prove that he was the one who did it.
Or I suppose with the result of a Scare flipping town dayvig but that wouldn't help Isquens position at all.

Not that I think Scare has looked entirely clean. Though if Scare is the bad one of the two, I think he would have to be an independent and not scum.

I reject the idea that both him and Isquen can be on the same team.
What teammember sees Scare's mostly positive reception and decided to throw dirt at it?

To tack on a little, i could see an outlandish scum/scum scenario here but that is merely more likely than isquen scum and scare town. The far more likely scenario 98 times out of 100 is just isquen town.

But I didn't and still dont think Suprak is a whole separate player (even before he claimed he wasn't) and it feels like a waste of time to be paranoid about him/her.

While I dont think its as simple as a counterclaim.
But you are right in that I dont think a scumIsquen would make that claim. I should have made clearer in my post that I dont mind the claim itself.
I only mentioned the double not-town thing to refute Hans theory.

Han, why do you see scum Isquen attempt to suicide into a day vig of all things, one that has used a shot no less (I forget if Scare said anything about more shots, but it doesn't change the point anyway) with no one else claiming the shot even? He wasn't pressured that hard and had voted Scare before being pressured anyways.

I pointed this out too, but it would be a hella high level scum counter claim. If isquen is scum, he is bumping up majorly in my scum respect rankings.

Not that many people have that many things to go by yet, and I know I'm in the bunch too, but I feel like Stan had really gone under the radar when I read through. It's one thing not being around, another thing is being around but not actually doing anything but commenting, and it seems to me like Stan has been around and mostly just commented about the Suprak account yet still missing Lopen said he never had it. Not that I agreed talking about it in itself is scummy, mind you, but it looks like generating a lot of posts without actually contributing when it's the only thing you talk about.

The stop and Lopen dying really halted what was happening at the time, mainly BCT being in the hot seat. BCT, did you ever get around to answering this?

Ben also escaped some shade, though BCT had probably already taken the spotlight from him to extent. He walked back and forward on some remarks about the Suprak player which was weird. Still going by unlycnhable, right? Even though a day 1 Ben claim as either alignment isn't that trustworthy. I noted that Ben was just "sipping tea" early on instead of being all over the place town confirmning people from few posts and making losts jokes. I made no point it about initially because early Ben always confuses me but we did have a game recently where Ben also didn't joke around much early and was scum and Ben loves those day 1's and finds them to be of a lot of value. Given how Ben looks, I don't think testing unlynchable is a bad idea if he doesn't walk back on it.

I noted that MI suspected Death several times without actually going after it much, only saying why when Lopen asked. I think it's a bit weird saying "Maybe I'm talking myself into feeling stronger about this hmm" and not ever really following up on it. Putting it out there because that makes the most sense to me if scum/scum but I don't have much to add on either so it's just something to consider if one flips scum eventually.

I had only also posted like 4 posts before that one, jeez.

I've said who I'm most wary of already but have no vote down for a reason. Think BCT (though not initially) and Ben looks the most off from usual play and that Stan looked to be playing snake in the greass, I'm also not done looking at other names I made no notes to when catching up yesterday.

I struggled seeing the scum logic in anything Scare or Isquen has done in this topic. I know I know, could be SK, but I don't think it's the best day 1 appoach to go after that. This feels exactly like a case where role metaing seems obvious but asking trying to ask why is the correct solution. I will give your point about the logic a scum Isquen could have used here is the one thing that I paused to consider, it just doesn't feel like the most obvious answer.

Oh actually one thing about Scare, it's one thing you said you shot because of being worried about being shot yourself, which is weird no matter how you slice it, but was there anything specifically that made you think that scum would have interest in shooting you at that point? I want to have this line of thinking specified more.

Less confident than I was initially, but imo the scummiest thing so far was his weird way of slowing revealing things about his role in a really confusing way. It read like he was still coming up with a fake claim as he was going.

BCT being quiet right now does not feel like how a scum would act after getting a 12 punch of Lopen dying (as a result of someone other than them no less perhaps) and him getting to still be in the game.

But he should come back regardless.

But Scare's reaction when Lopen died was definitely keying in to him having done it, so I would say Scare definitely did it.

It just doesn't really fit as a Scum action, still. Why would Scare shoot Lopen as Scum? It doesn't make sense.

Lopen as town is really freaking good plus he already made several people think he was town its not as weird as you think
