Alright, I've been back and fourth a lot and I don't think it's worth keeping to myself anymore, because it's distracting you all more than I think it could be something for scum to fear another night.

I did the darn busdrive with the intend of saving Ulti. I thought Ulti's play made complete sense with how I know him if he was doctor and not BP and I expected scum to have the same idea.

No redirection happened the other nights because I only had one of those.

And why BCT? He was one of my biggest suspects in the PoE and wouldn't be a huge loss if dead as vanilla when instead of doctor.

Either Ctes is lying, or SBell has a fetish for bait roles.

Ctes being jack makes total sense with why he didn't claim flavor right away. And why he didn't claim the bus drive right away. He was holding back additional details.

He has NO reason to claim these additional actions if scum. He already has the vigging death gambit going for him

Look, let's talk about this for a second.

One-time Bus Drive - flips Crescent with whomever. Means Ulti's save doesn't hit Crescent - means they kill Crescent.

JC claims to be redirected because Ctes plans to claim it eventually. He just doesn't because, you know.

I don't know what else we'd be looking at, though. Vig/BD and they DID shoot Crescent n1 with regular shot? Ulti saving JC means either Scum shot Ulti or they shot JC. Or they had a full-time BD which had them shooting Ulti while swapping him with JC...

Acknowledging BCT was the only claimed vanilla at that point, did it ever cross your mind that he was the best person for me to scan given the fact people were telling me I should have scanned a vanilla? So by bussing him you predictably took my scan away?

And Lea, I don't think I had a clear suspicion if anyone n2, but I felt great about Ulti getting shot and wanted to save him so I had to pick someone and picked a vanilla claim in my PoE.

The scan then hitting there was extremely frustrating.

say you're scum ctes. you have this information and you can chaos claim it at any point. you have options of either using it to a) implicate someone or b) protect someone

ctes has not tried to implicate anyone else through this claim. so option A doesn't fit.

Lea has suggested Option B - but does that make that much sense? I actually don't know what votals are but was BCT actually in enough danger or receiving enough pressure to call this 'protecting' him? Sure the bus was a protection from a scan, but I'm talking about strictly in terms of protection as a lynch candidate here. like does this claim protect BCT?

A lot of it comes with doubting Ulti was ever truthful about BP which I am still jot sure about. If he was truthful he wouldn't live long. Not before today have I considered it, but then no one died and I didn't stop it, so naturally I don't go for Ulti. Is this not a lot of setup meta coming from someone that once claimed it should be clear both Lopen and I were truthful when we had straight up contradicting night actions?

For the former, I definitely wasn't getting the sense that it was really gaining traction. Seems a bit like a stretch to me.

And the latter, most of the pressure was from Wallz who appears locked in an OMGUS battle with ctes, and Sultan who has an extremely questionable PoE. Also not entirely convinced.

I'm not speaking for Lea because I'm not sure she was talking about the same thing, but my thought was that the scum equity in swapping BCT out when he was the only claimed vanilla was that scum didn't want you to see he moved. Claiming that the bus was from town for a saving Ulti with a non-power role reason would protect BCT/Ben from that implication.

I find myself once again wondering if Ben is catching or well -aware of the game state. Because this is a pretty strong statement for someone who is catching up!

Additionally, Ben, if Ctes had claimed vanilla, with the words he gave before defending a Town BD, he'd already be known to be hinting it.

Expectation of somebody jumping on him for it is the reason to claim. The claim is already in motion. And when Scum make claim plans like that, they tend to go through with them.

The question is why Ctes would claim multi-stuff in the first place.
