This type of "reporting" doesn't do much to help with the epidemic of obesity in America...

The article was a report about a video posted to Instagram in which Lizzo talked about how beautiful she is. It was padded out with a couple of quotes from the comments and a bit about Ariana Grande being criticized for being too petite.

There was no opinion given on Lizzo's health.

Is there an obesity crisis? Of course. Do I think this piece of showbiz fluff impacts it at all? No. If it worked like that, there wouldn't be an obesity crisis, as the number of 'perfect' bodies out there on social media and trash 'news' aggregators far, far outweigh (heh), the Lizzos of the entertainment world.
