Its risky to assume too much about who scum would kill either way.
They could think one thing (IGCD is bluffing/taunting us) and say another (IGCD definitely claimed cop)

This is what I think. Theres a town role that redirected from IGCD to Lopen. IGCD was not
rbd because he was supposed to die. Its likely the person who did the redirecting thought Lopen was scum. Now, why would scum intentionally go after Lopen? Power hunting with a doctor claim and a heavily implied cop claim?

No, theres no reason to power hunt blindly in that scenario.

The other possibility I find likely is scum didnt buy IGCD and figured Death might save IGCD anyway, so went in a different direction.

Im trying to come up with a good reason why scum would role block Corrik. Not really finding one.

I dont think town RB protects Corrik either in this case

I remember a couple interactions i had with her yesterday and it reminded me of when i was scum and how i acted towards town you on d1 last game. Except now I'm you and she's me.

So for me it's just a hunch. I would lynch the others before her if i was king.

The mind meld was solid.
Last game when death and i had an almost STP with the same idea in each, I latched on to it as a mind meld so he'd think i was town like him.

huh, it's a scummy post in general considering kirby and I haven't played that many games together and why would he have the opinion that I would join in on fun? But I guess I can't argue with you for how you see it other than something like "No, because I'm town!" and that doesn't even convince me so why would I expect it to convince you.

and Kirby is definitely not a static b8 mafia player and has only been around for a few game recently before your joining. so our history isn't that storied. Certainly not like me and ulti or me and corrik. I'd expect either one of them to say honestly that sbell is not going to do something because everyone else is.

Why do you think it wasnt obvious to you when you first read Kirbys post? I think if someone mischaracterized me or my play style in a pretty glaring way, Id call bs immediately

Yeah, but I was wondering why that didnt raise a red flag to you that hey, Kirby and I havent played many games together and he is questioning me using a blatantly false impression of me. What does that mean about Kirby? Shouldnt I ask Kirby why he thinks that or press him about it?

tl;dr Sbell having no opinion on Kirby towards the end of d1 made no sense to me, and I think peaf was correct about Kirbys comment about sbell not joining the fun being cheeky bussing. Add in sbell being focused on convincing IGCD of his towniness and not questioning IGCD, Kirby or anyone other than Lopen a bit towards the beginning of d1, and yeah I am pretty sure sbell is scum.

I spent half of day 1 forced to defend myself from igcd and then ukti turned it into a death vs. Kirby day and we had literally no content to go off of.

I won't deny that I should have dug deeper into kirby but I also just started a new job this week and have been mobile the whole game so I'm doing 0 research here. just going off of what pops at the moment

I don't consider you being antagonistic here. your points are valid. I had hoped to come into this game and really knock one out of the park but it just fell apart for me before I had a chance to even get going.

Death was being very analytical early on which is not a bad thing persay. Someone else highlighted Death being wishy-washy and that it means he's scum and as I pointed out I think it's a mislabeled tell of his. Which helped push into the town column for sure.

Kirby, like I said hadn't pinged me either way yet (noting my whiffing it when he tried to attribute actions to me which he really shouldn't be that well versed in) so like I said I'd have voted kirby which I didn't feel the chance to. however you can consider my vote number 8. the invisible vote.

no lynch is where I absolutely would have voted if we could have, I won't deny that.

Did which game too? I skimmed the second thread but didnt get to go through as thoroughly as I wouldve liked. I may still go back but I thought there was plenty to glean from when the gladiator started through the end of t1.

SBell, this has been brought up but its debatable if you were really forced to defend yourself, at least to the extent you did from a time and % of your content perspective. Now naturally youd want to defend yourself but it felt like you didnt really do anything but defend yourself. Then the gladiator thing happened and you knew with total confidence you would not be lynched d1. But I didnt really see a huge sigh of relief and ok, lets get our hands dirty finding scum despite the decent amount of posting you did.

Im also not sure its accurate to say there was no content to go off of because although I missed the boat, clearly enough people got scum vibes from Kirby.

Yeah, I am not sure I buy SBell thinking death was town and having no opinion on Kirby, yet still proposing a no lynch, saying it might logically make more sense to keep the cop alive, engaging with IGCD and asking his thoughts on Kirby, all that stuff.

I was just reviewing what makes the most sense yadda yadda if basing the lynch on claims.

Nah. Bus driver doesn't stop kills so im not sure why you would believe it replaces doctor.

wrong, but I reached a conclusion. Sbell having no opinion on Kirby is strange, especially after Kirbys comment about sbell not joining in the fun which apparently shouldve raised red flags for sbell. and he has used being forced to defend himself as an excuse but never came around to deciding what he thought of Kirby after it was clear he (sbell) was off the chopping block.

Sbell was around, posting a good bit, asking IGCD his thoughts on Kirby, but never really formed an opinion. Yet he preferred not lynching the person of which he supposedly had no opinion. That doesnt sound like having no opinion to me.
