Deadlifts are exhausting but I hardly ever do them. They're more taxing on the cns than they are beneficial for your muscles. With that said, it's a good idea to do them on occasion. I mean lifting heavy things and putting them down is the foundation of weight lifting... obviously. I am an athlete and body builder and I've had zero problems getting good pumps at planet fitness. They have multiple squat racks and a leg press I can put a dozen plus 45s on. Only thing is they're smith machines so you gotta find other ways to target those stabilizing muscles. For legs I do weighted box steps and one leg deadlifts. --- BADoglick to the Max! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Deadlifts are an awesome exercise. I deadlift every time I train now (3-4 times per week). Hint: mix it up with trap bar deadlifts, rack pulls, Romanians, pause deadlifts, dumbbell deadlifts, etc so you're not just doing the same movement every day. Maybe pick 2-3 of them per training cycle to focus on. --- Sign here. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Theres only so much a smith machine, leg press, and hamstring curls can do. Or maybe I used that as an excuse and didnt push very hard GameReviews posted... Deadlifts are an awesome exercise. Leg press was good, but I always feel like it spoils you a little --- "You're not a good person, you'll never be one, you'll never even convince anyone to mistakenly believe you to be one." -HCE to me ... Yeah I've been to various planet fitness gyms in my travels and some are certainly better than others. I also have this thing with my health insurance so I can go to multiple gyms in my city for one price so I sometimes mix it up with a gym that has an actual squat rack and allows deadlifts. The downside is I've never seen free pizza at mine --- BADoglick to the Max! ... Copied to Clipboard!
