SANDSLASH https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/9/4/4/AAdhHyAAExKY.jpg `Meowth: 37` `Sandslash: 70` honestly haven't been paying attention myself until the end to finally count and oh wow I wasn't expecting the blowout, good work slash Graph `(axis Saves vs Time in hours)` https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/9/4/5/AAdhHyAAExKZ.png Anyways now that first contest is done feel free to discuss your thoughts here - I know there was a bit of tension about SPEED ROUNDS the other day but like I said this is a beta test series testing out features then dialing in to what the contest can handle (regarding target save times) and what people are interested in I can definitely say late game speed rounds wouldn't normally be a thing but there's only so many rounds and I gotta fit 'em in a few times to get different samples of people engaging with them Amount of saves you can do is another thing to consider, without looking up I believe the way past contests handled it was 2 saves lasting up until the Top Half, then going to 1. Though there is an interesting strategy to them that interacts with how these contests allow saving the save character, and multi-saves is the only phase where trading actually is a thing so it might be something to shuffle in with the later rounds but the point Xuxon made is very much valid that you can't really just shuffle everything around so much and the later rounds already do need regular rule updates to keep up with save requirements, so swapping back and forth can absolutely be disorienting anyways yeah that's things to consider, feel free to comment and the next test building off feedback and the growing activity will start tomorrow with Galarian Forms also mnk mentioned about regional form evolutions and that's something I haven't actually decided yet, on one they are a different thing than just alt forms, but on the other hand... they really are like the Final Form of their Alolan forms so it feels weird to exclude them think I'm leaning towards include --- https://savemy.app Grimlyn's a p cool gal. <cite>Save-My posted [p:975557538] in Save My Al... I don't mind things being mixed up so long as it's clear from the outset what the round's rules are. I guess a speed round happening overnight would kind of suck though... Immediately starting the next round is still the only other recommendation from my end but if we're stuck in 30 +/- 15 hell then I'll live with it. andylt posted... Lopen 08/20/23 1:55:26 PM #34:	Marowak Grimer and Rattata are the three I think improve upon the original the most. It's a shame Alolan Raticate looks so dumb you'd have a solid line there. But Alolan Sandslash is better than normal Sandslash and normal Sandslash is awesome to begin with so it's a strong #1 from me. A-Marowak had as good a chance as any other variant I suppose, but I couldn't in good conscience move to it when Slash was still there. I think the other two are more lateral moves than improvements personally, but while Kanto Grimer is mediocre, Kanto Sandslash is indeed awesome so I had no qualms with voting for its Alolan variant over forms that I felt were actual improvements.
