Ulti if you were to set up dates right now what would you set??

I appreciate you coming around to the idea, Ulti. I will recap again what I think should happen for today:

Today:

Group 1: Ulti, MZero, Sultan, Isquen

Group 2: Chris, Dumey, FD, JC, Kirby

(Previously I had myself in a separate group, but Kirby is of the opinion I should be more involved in the day's lynch)

1) Two people from Group 2 pair up. Any two provided they didn't date last night.

2) The 3 remaining players from Group 2 each adopt one person from Group 1. The remaining person is lynched.

Tomorrow:

Then I don't foresee anyone from group 1 being NK'd so tomorrow which makes this a single step process.

1) There should be 3 people from group 1 left. Two of them pair up and the 3rd gets lynched.

There should also be 4 people group 2 left alive and we/they pair off as well. I assume as the lone remaining info role chris dies tonight, but I also thought he was going to die last night. If he lives then it probably means I died so people could argue against my plan without as much pushback. Regardless we cross that bridge tomorrow.

And that should about cover it. I still think as the person pushing this plan it makes the most sense for me to NOT have an impact on which 3 players get adopted, but it could also make sense for someone like Kirby or JC to get paired with Chris tonight on the off chance he survives.

So if you were in the bottom 3 with Isquen and Dumey then a theoretical set of pairs that would fit your desires would be something like:

-Kirby and Chris
-JC and Sultan/MZero
-FD and Sultan/MZero

And then Dumey has the choice between you and Isquen with Dumey/Isquen being an impossible pairing tomorrow?

Okay i was good with the plan before I'm still good with it now. If ulti is trying to make a scum hero play here I salute it.

The logic puzzle adds up to Sultan town, Isquen + Dumey scum. Every single player other than Chris named Sultan, which means both scum also named him should he be town.

You realize there's only two scum left, right? So if Sultan is scum, that means there's only one person there potentially bussing him because of all the suspicion he's gotten, or he's paired with someone like you who has flip flopped back and forth on him and has no real convictions on him.

I don't even know how your "logic puzzle" spat out a pairing of me and Isquen. You didn't bother even attempting an explanation on that. But it is cute that you are advocating the one person that vehemently is opposed to me to be in the final three with me, therefore ensuring that the date doesn't happen. Great plan, Ulti. 5 stars.

Ignoring feelings and trying to collaborate better as a player. My reads this game suck, and at a certain point you get tired of losing and just listen to better people. That and I feel scum would be less likely to answer my request. Chris might be asleep or whatever, but there was no reason for Dumey not to participate.

Three reasons:

1. Video game after work with friends.
2. I literally compiled a list of PoEs earlier today and have been incredibly vocal about my PoE, so all you had to do was read.
3. Damn, not cooperating = scum? I guess scum is Ulti/Chris guys. Wrap it up.

I don't mind the 44 hour day. Not like the four hours lost would have that huge of an impact.

Anyway, I have tiny bit of time. I've done some light ISOing of Isquen. This particular post caught my attention (T2P316):

I have not done my due diligence and worked an early shift today, so now I get to partake a bit more. The day is still young, after all.

Currently I've got a "hell no, not even if you paid me" mindset of pairing with a third of the playerbase, another third being cold, congealed fish (including my prior offer.)

This leaves the spicy other third. Lea, Peaf, JC, Lopen, FD, even if you are previously taken, you all have my attention. Woo me like... one of... your French girls?

Lea and Lopen were town. Peaf was scum. JC and FD are both alive today.

Hard to say this means anything, but Isquen hasn't contradicted himself by naming JC or FD in his PoE today. In fact, Isquen has been consistent about thinking I was scum since Day 1. In that sense, his reads haven't evolved at all over the course of the game.

And then there was the lover's quarrel on Day 2. To that, Isquen had justified his pairing with Corrik as (T3P163):

It's a pragmatic offer. Corrik and I share similar interests in that we tend to always be overscrutinized when we both have day 1 availability that approaches 0 (though in point of confession, I slept through almost every AM hour today. Weather shift is making me feel garbo.)

I'd rather have Lopen, but them's the breakups.

Given the story that Isquen tried to talk with Corrik only to get the cold shoulder because Isquen made Corrik on edge... this might've actually been genuine.

Isquen, however, was in favor of lynching Red (before he was revealed to be Cop) (T4P37)

I am never going to accept a date offer from him until proven innocent by multiple trusted sources, of which I have scant few right now.

Which is interesting because Red should've been a nice out for scum to capitalize on given his open invitations to date.

What was especially interesting is that Isquen constantly berated Ulti for feeling like Ulti was trying to pocket him. He said this on Day 1 and on Day 2.

And then on Day 3, he also had Ulti on his scum list (T9P5):

You're flailing and failing at it. I have mentioned repeatedly that I'm not feeling well, and I have a scum-to-town scale of everyone and have put forth my town thoughts already via my date requests, and the more you keep throwing a fit the lower down that scale you slide.

So in one sense, it's weird that he paired with Ulti today.
On the other hand, the writing on the wall is obvious that Isquen is likeliest to be lynched, and his top three scum are completely untouched. So I could see a town Isquen being stubborn here.

If anything, this ISO has made me feel worse about Ulti, actually.

YES BECAUSE EVERYONE EXCEPT ISQUEN READ THE END OF DAY 3. I usually don't like to do this thing where I insist I am town because of play, but jesus christ, I was practically begging Lopen to let me die.

If you and Chris want to veto Sultan, then whatever. But your plan makes absolutely no sense.

I'd argue Dumey being totally by himself despite having an open date from me is probably the biggest reason why nobody mentioned him as scum. I'd argue that FD is still the "unnoticed" scum, if it exists, with JC as a close second.

No, it's rigged in the sense that I am Isquen's #1 scumspect, and he's not going to date me. So I die by default instead of one of your preferred lynch pool.

We can solve that by not fully resolving some of the other pairs until after Dumey's pair is formed with one of those two?

But yeah it just occurred to me that we could put them in the final 3 and Isquen/Ulti could just say "screw you" and date each other again. They'd be giving themselves up for tomorrow with that kind of betrayal, but we should still avoid it if we could :/

He either accepts a life line from you or he watches Ulti accept your life line instead. If he's town he should prefer life to death regardless of how he feels about you.

If you're town I hope you change your mind and play to win.

But I gotta be honest this defeatism only makes me feel better about both scum being in the 4 of you and you're upset that there's no path to victory if we stay the course.

New plan FD, we go back to the old plan. Have the town confident group of Dumey/Kirby/JC/FD date within each other. Let Chris shelter Sultan as his veto. Let Isquen/MZero/Ulti duke it out for themselves.

No fancy attempt at delaying MYLO. Just playing the game standard, the way we should have been playing it the first three days.

Don't reject this immediately just because it's not the cool idea you came up with. Honestly think about how this plays out over the next day or two, and tell me if you think it looks okay still. If we can't get people to agree to your Plan tm then we should have a backup plan rather than steering at the last second.

I mean when any 2 people can form an unbreakable pair what can I even do or say about it?

I was just trying to patch a potential vulnerability by limiting and simultaneously giving the other people I believe are town the power and agency to influence the day's decision.
