smh if any of y'all complain that shit like veal or venison ain't on here, just say beef because that's basically what it is.

Anyways, my tier list is

Fish
Chicken
Beef
Pork

I think chicken is probably the most consistently good meat, but the best fish clears any of the other meats.

Fish annoys me.

I wanna add some fish to my food; but Tuna isn't that good for me and Salmon always comes as a on-the-bone chop when I want chunked or flaked salmon.

Of course, i'd rather have haddock or scallops, the superior fish, but... ehhh

;

Also, something about fish. ok, pretty much every single fish has a unique taste to it (except the shitty basa-likes that have zero flavour at all throw in trash), cuz they are a great number of different species.

Beef is... beef. We don't really have any bison or ox any more, and the various game animals are kinda their own thing of generic "mammal meat" ... except pork somehow. I've never eaten whale but I'd guess it tastes like fish-pork.

For bird, now, bird I think all of them taste the same and it really comes down to what percentage of white/dark meat you want. I like white meat and I like it dry which is why I like turkey.

I probably eat more chicken than anything else, but mainly because it's the cheapest. There are few meat or meat alternatives as inexpensive as a whole rotisserie chicken for $5 from Costco. Fish is probably second, mostly tuna, mackerel, and sardines, all canned. I really love a good rainbow trout, but trout's usually fairly hard to come by and/or expensive.

Of those 4 options in the poll, I probably eat beef the least, even though a grilled rib eye steak is my favorite meat. I don't have it often because it's very expensive; last I checked it was $12 a pound at Costco for USDA Choice.

I've tasted mutton once and hated it. It was really nasty. And I'd never eat goat meat because some of my friends are goats.

Ham is pork.

Chicken probably should have been "poultry", since one of the options is "fish" and there's less of a difference between chicken and turkey than there is between salmon or trout and a whitefish like swai or catfish.

Nope. Ham literally comes from pig and is pork. The only distinction would be the size of the cut and how it's prepared.

No it doesn't. It's like the difference between a pork chop cooked in gravy or with shake-n-bake. It still is pork, still tastes like pork, just different seasoning.

It's not that complex bro lol. You marinate whatever thin slices of beef you wanna marinate, put the beef in the air fryer, set it at a good temperature (I usually do 165 degrees F) hit Dehydrate, and then 3 hours later...beef jerky.

yeah chicken is almost always good, but perfectly cooked salmon is incredible

if we include cooking and not just eating I think I would say pork. I eat a lot of porkchops lately since they're so easy to cook and eat. (and cheap too)

Veal is beef but it makes no sense to not include lamb. There are 10 poll options. That could have also included game meat under it's own category and goat too.

Chicken.

I don't do beef or pork for flavor (and sometimes texture) reasons. I can do seafood, but it's unnecessarily pricey for anything good around here. Turkey or duck can be fine if done right. Chicken is affordable and easy to work with; so it's only my "favorite" for economic reasons.

though I usually cook chicken thighs myself for reasons (good crispy skin and easy), pork I prefer going out and more special occasions cooking at home (carnitas, al pastor, banh mi etc)
