SoC finally gives me some luck after a painful reroll process for Gloria and a lot of trash multis following it.

Yeah I wouldn't even bother rerolling anyways lol. 2% is generally pretty fixable. You should start with at least a Beryl or a Col to start, but you'll eventually get Gloria no matter what.

A lot of people stuck in reroll hell, and I just think it's better to start cuz the game is currently about racing to lvl 40 to grind for the legendary tier weapons and armors, and you literally can't rush it there without spending gems. So reroll hell is bad

It's a packed period of time in Arknights right now.

First, we have one of the Sui sibling limited banners going on right now. This one is a direct upgrade over Saria but, even then, I can't really call her a "must have" unit if you already have Saria. Saria is still relevant.

We'll be having the second Rainbow 6 collab pretty soon and the 6* of that banner, Ela, is really good. We'll also be getting a rerun of the first collab in case you missed anyone from that. Like other collab banners, 120 pulls guarantees you your first copy of the 6* banner character.

The main issue is pulling on those banners while also saving for the upcoming Chapter 14 banner, which will be another limited one. This is the much anticipated Wis'adel (W alter) limited banner that also features Logos. Both units are super busted but especially Wis'adel.

Damn. I got Garcia on the dual banner when I wanted Nungal. Im kinda bummed out on SoC right now not only because of that, but because on the Discord they mentioned that theyre making changes based on suggestions, but they didnt even take into account some of the top upvoted things: fixing the stamina system, making guilds NOT require real money, and the lack of map rotation.

I should be getting 2 more 10 pulls from the 5 million download event and from reaching level 30. Possibly one more if I can scrape up enough from regular gameplay in that week. But if I dont get Nungal by then, chances are that Ill uninstall :<

The daily resource grind doesnt help either, especially combined with the fact that skipping requires an item that expires <_<

Garcia's cute. I heard she sucks but I do want to pull a 5* that isn't Gloria or Beryl any time soon

I think map rotation isn't happening though. It basically requires a redraw of all the settings, which I don't think they want to do.

The SRPG mode is probably the only reason this game is worth playing though. I feel like gacha isn't fun or fair enough. I do like 2% gachas but the income is just too low

So might be spoilers, but in the SRPG mode, I accidentally didn't finish one of those main quests that make you get 100 pts or whatever.

I think that accident locked me into a good path, cuz the conclusion was that the side that I went with aren't that good ppl

I really dont like the Spiral of whatever mode though. Its confusing as hell and the fact that the keys expire is just

Dont get me wrong though, I think its a neat idea; getting to go through the story and taking different paths to change the outcome. I just think it was poorly executed. Like I dont know what the stamina or whatever is for, but I think its unnecessary. I think they should just have you play normally but have your answers have an effect on what happens :<

WOOOOOOOO the luckiest thing that has happened to me in any gacha just happened. I got Navy Captain Landy from a free 10 pull item :D

Ive been trying to get her since she came out, and especially now since theres a banner where you can choose which Moonlight character will have the rate up. But even with that the odds of getting her was .625%. Then I went and got her off banner when it was .003% lol

Oh god, I feel like such a dumbass. You dont NEED the octopus things to skip in SoC. Theyre just there if you want to skip the 3 hour cooldown that characters have when you use them to skip. Thats fairly reasonable.

Although that only solves one of my many gripes with the game. I think my biggest is the lack of currency, followed closely by the stamina. They only give 400 gems from monthly log ins, meaning it takes 3 1/2 months for a single 10 pull <_<

If it makes you feel better, Project Neural Cloud gives 2 single tickets and 200 sands per month. 1 pull costs 150.

So 3 pulls a month with 50 leftover. Exactly 3 months for 10 pull from daily logins alone.

Yeah I pulled a second Beryl too. Still Nungal-less though. Just 2 day left until the end of the 5 million dl event and I think I can get another 10 pull with the tower. So probably 20 pulls will decide if I uninstall or not. Although Ill also accept Momo lol

I want Inanna cuz I'm a sucker for the heroine types, esp the downtrodden one you see a lot in the SRPG mode. I do think I'm also staying til I see what I get on the free 10 pull cuz the currency is definitely way too slow to feel fun. I need a 10 pull every week. That's all I ask of a gacha honestly

This has cool story and some SRPG ideas but man, there are so many things that bring it down cuz it has to be an f2p gacha, and a very mid one in terms of gacha at that

I really dont like how they didnt address the stamina issue with their first response about what things theyre adding to improve the game. A bunch of people mentioned that it was a huge problem but they just ignored that.

Not only that, but their celebration for having 40K Discord members was a code for 5,000 gold lol. Like geez, dont even bother giving anything if its that paltry.

Edit: Yes, the ability to choose an S-rank in the standard blue ticket banner (100% guaranteed pity within 60 blue ticket pulls or 40 pulls if the banner is still in Beginner Mode for new accounts) comes with this patch but there are two very important things you need to know (I'll reiterate it when the patch notes are released next week in the usual spot):
-You can only use this feature ONCE per account. To this date, there has never been a reset on the CN server, so think well before using it.
-It's permanent and stays around until you use it. Keep it on "random" for the S-rank character until then. It will update itself until you use it and will have all S-rank characters that are at least two patches old. If you had to miss a character, you can pull one copy using your blue tickets if you're patient (again, one time only).

20 pulls on SoC and no new 5*. I got locked into a route I didn't want because I literally said yes to one innocuous sounding thing. I was supposed to say no to Lutfi asking me to ask Gloria to take care of Inanna, a reasonable request amongst like 5 different requests which have bad consequences if you say no.

Turns out that fucking locks my ass into a terrible route. Thanks game, I don't want to play 50 more weeks just to go into Gloria's route. Honestly horrendous design

I'm just gonna fucking spoil it. Lutfi spends the entire fucking game talking about peace and finding out the truth. You're never physically shown any evidence he's up to no good, and you literally fucking see his backstory in the gacha route in like Ch 2 or 3 or whatever, where he's just... shown to be a betrayed by his brother Dantalion, who seems to be up to no good. He vows that he's gonna get revenge and usurp the throne. He literally wants democracy, so you don't really suspect him

He joins up with the Union, which generally kinda seems like a bad side? But amongst them, there are good people, like Gloria and her adoptive father, who just seem like they're trying to make best of this crazy ass war that's going on due to the uprising in the town where majority of the ppl there are killed by the king's army, including other members of the king's army. This causes a country wide war btwn the Iria, Union, and Papal, Iria being Lutfi and Dantalion's kingdom, and Papal being a religious fanatic state of some kind. The priestess lady who I forget the name of has a badass Chapter 5 where she's some Spanish Inquisition commander, and her healer moveset changes entirely into a moveset of an offensive mage.

So you learn to trust Gloria, who you become close to over several weeks. It isn't entirely strange that Lutfi asks you to ask Gloria to take care of Inanna, who is a presumed dead princess of Iria. Dantalion has known for a while that she's alive, and he's been trying to take her back to his protection. It's something that you'd probably think to ask her to do anyways

Now the reason why this is a terrible decision, there is 0 hint as to this being the case, so the assumption is that you get locked into a bad ending out of your volition, and with that knowledge, you make the right choice in a separate playthrough. This could work if it doesn't fucking take 20 hours just to get to this point again cuz random missions are not skippable. This dooms your Gloria route, because taking care of Inanna actually makes her too distracted to follow her stepfather to discovering the truth behind the uprising in the town. Because the stepfather gets too close to the truth and confronts the culprit, he is actually killed, and this drives Gloria to depression, which allows Lutfi to swoop in and freaking make her a sacrifice to some big old plot. This locks you into a guy named Augustus' route, as you didn't trust Lutfi but said yes to Lutfi's plot. Augustus, the leader of Union, is the guy supposedly responsible for the uprising and the guy who murders Gloria's stepfather. Basically you've gotten too close to this case, and you'd rather ally with Augustus rather Lutfi who's been tricking you and Gloria. It's literally a bad end cuz Augustus fucking sucks and only appears post Week 40

Good move. I was getting sick of how little summons you get so I uninstalled too.

Well thats something I didnt expect from a game literally called Cat Fantasy that advertises itself almost entirely on catgirls lol. What are they gonna be then? Although I hope what I heard is true and that my most wanted waifu is going to be a free log in reward.

As for the catgirls, I dont know if this has been shown in the promotional stuff but there are 4 or 5 of them iirc and each has multiple costumes that are what sets their roles and stats.

I just noticed. Global doesnt seem to have the pc version at launch. Damn. It ran terribly for me on android.

Im liking the gameplay in Cat Fantasy so far. It reminds me of a game I dont remember offhand. Where you pick attacks and they slide into position and can combine. Kinda sad that you only get 20 stamina per level (if it stays that way) like SoC, but thank fuck thats worth 2 stages and not 2/3 of a stage lol.

I really wish more games would let multiple people have the same name though :<

Zombie teddy bears don't appear to be in the summon pool in Cat Fantasy. Either they were removed or, more likely, I'm not remembering correctly from 2 years ago. I notice the text appearing too slow for the scene bug is present and QOL stuff is behind a paywall. I definitely don't remember the paywall QOL being a thing. I also remember there being a reroll banner.

I believe the 10% only applies to the first SSR you pull. It then goes down to 2.2%. The SSR pool is also limited for the 10% draw. I used it to get Asura since she's considered the best one from the reduced pool.
