You said it yourself that a Peaf + you combo doesn't make sense, so I'm just extending that a bit.

So is it just Red and MI for me? Feels like scum has no chance to win if that's that. I'm fine with that, but it's usually not how things go. Is it Peaf + someone outside of that? If it's someone outside of that then it's probably someone no one can expect to be scum right now, least of all me. Or just death lol

So to actually answer your question, the only person I can justify being scum right now outside of the 3 vanillas is godfather death. Anything else is something we're not seeing until more is revealed or unexpected night kills happen

If we're all town then scum has really gotten us good. I'm trying to open my eyes and stop tunneling but everyone else that could be scum feels like a lower % chance than clearing up the vanillas somewhat, imo. I'm open to arguments elsewhere but worry that that's just kicking the can down the road

Not necessarily. Red + Death is still possible but I wouldn't readily lynch an innocent scan without trying to flip a godfather first

Honestly, I'm not quite sure why we've so readily gotten to last two scum.

Someone in power is almost certainly lying.

I just ran with what others suggested, but if there's 3 or more it doesn't change the things I have stated. I have not been capping myself at 2 in these reasonings

Yeah last 2 scum is not something i can agree with. It's possible there's only 2 left but I'm going to play like there's 3.

Yeah well I'm in a position where i know your logic reveals only 1 scum if accurate.

So i have to move you beyond that in thinking.

I agree that we should assume 3 left, but I won't be surprised if only 2 with the relative strength of scum/town that we're aware of. Maybe ctes has something that tips the scales and changes how we would estimate the balance, but that's not important today.

So can everyone give me two players that you believe have no faith in my abilities as a player(if you're Red you can just list yourself twice)

I ask this because the vote manipulation person obviously doesn't fear me with gun and I would imagine that if they are town I am a player some wouldn't trust me to shoot correctly and based on numbers there is a significantly higher chance I can hit town at the moment.

• Ulti, but only retroactively if you shoot town. If you shoot scum, Ulti will take credit for the kill entirely by saying he was right Day 1

I'm just trying to figure out why I am being allowed to get the gun if there is someone that can prevent others from voting.

And the only thing I can think of is that it is a scum ability and they don't believe I can hit them. I laid out how I get my shot day 1, they could have prevented it but chose not to.

So what did I miss

If anyone wasn't paying attention I said last night I'd be busy with worker's comp things today. "Lol" if people tried to lynch me for it.

But yeah my elbow might finally be getting some specific help they've dragged their heels on for well over two months now.

That's actually a great point. Your side-quest would be impossible if your vote were removed every day, so why is it being permitted?

It would make me trust you less, tbh except for the fact that I didn't think about that combination of abilities and you were the one who pointed it out.

And I would totally get it if I claimed what I did then was mysteriously unable to vote everyday major suspicion would be warranted but that isn't what is happening.

If I had to guess, maybe it's less so a faith thing than a statistical thing.

If Corrik were still alive, I'd 100% say he'd be at the top of the "zero faith in IGCD" because letting you shoot freely is exactly the kind of move he'd try to push if he were scum.

Though when you phrase the question like that, it makes me wonder... is scum suppressing Ctes's vote because they're afraid he's likelier to vote correctly than everyone else?

This is beyond irrelevant. Suppressing votes is a weak power until endgame that has minimal effect on the game state.

Makes me think more that it's a side effect on ctes' end, then. That's a good point.

It's a matter of value. There is essentially no value to the scumteam spamming such a power on a random member of town.

That basically means he's town doing it to himself or godfather. Ulti's alignment doesn't even matter in this.

Given the temporary lack of a claim and our current game state there isn't really a reason to pursue him today. Better off chopping at a high scum EV vanilla claim.

Actually just how bad his train looked was part of it, which I also made clear yesterday. Red's train was 3 people in my immediate POE, and at least half of Peaf's reasoning, which Ben blindly seconded, was factually incorrect.

I feel like I have a decent track record of power reading Red though.

Okay. I was wondering if there were breadcrumbs that red was leaving for a planned claim and then he decided against it for vanilla instead.

The power read on Red was glorified gut. The desire not to lynch him was how scummy his train was. Ben doing what he did made it a billion times scummier even still.

I'll look through Lopen's posts again and see if there is anything resembling a breadcrumb there. I think if there is a fake power then they are getting by claiming Lopen's role/flavor.

Though speaking of Red one thing did bug me earlier in the day.

I don't like how Red went from agreeing with me that Ben was scum to trying to coax Peaf into lynching me early in the day.

I understand why thoughts on Death would naturally transition, but I struggle to see how he got from Pont

From Point A to Point B concerning that. Ben was seemingly off his radar totally.

I would argue off of that point that if Red is scum it basically forces Peaf town because I don't see scum Red openly telling a scumbuddy to lynch the doctor when Peaf is one of the only people really pushing me.

Way more likely that's a devil whispering in the ear situation.

I totally admit to maybe being dumb, professor, but i don't remember red suggesting that you should be on the chopping block. Did i miss the assigned reading for today's class?
