Some regions are experiencing legitimate problems with immigrants failing to assimilate into cultural norms while others spread alarmist headlines that exaggerate the issue. The center and center left have handled things poorly, either by denying verifiable proof of increased immigration numbers or otherwise doing little too placate a population already competing for local resources.

Christ.(not you, the one responding to it) It's like people are so willing to listen to the lie, they'll even accept information from people who is telling them its a lie.

Id argue its less that right wing mindsets have increased, and more that left just sucks at marketing. Both sides have a shit ton of people who cannot understand politics, but the right benefits the most from both sides being ignorant.

Despite all the dysfunction out of the right, at the end the day they play the long game to get what they want to keep the left out of office. For example a lot of Republicans hate Trump.... but dislike Democrats even more.... so they voted for Trump to keep a Democrat out. As for messaging, they have far less people trying to hold Republicans "accountable" and "standard." In 2028, we arent going to see a ton of prominent Republicans bashing Republicans the same if not more than Democrats.

Meanwhile Democrats are far more likely to have this pollyanna approach to politics. Our side has a lot of, "needs to earn my vote" types. A lot of, "Im going to vote for the Democrats.... now excuse me while I spend months bashing the Democrat candidate because we should hold Democrats to a higher standard. And worse, waaay too many falsely assuming the average American is aware how bad Republicans are. Hell, our side sometimes even has difficulty dropping bad slogans like, "defund the police"..... if you have to constantly clarify what it really means to the average American.... sorry its a bad message. Or lets get into the types who have an all or it mind as well be nothing, mentality. The types that if legislation didnt check every box, they run off to claim Democrats did nothing at all (people like Kyle and Cenk easily fall into this camp.)
