Was Fatal Frame ever "big"? It always seemed like a niche of the niche.

I also never played one, so take it for what its worth. I recall them always being in the discount bin, multiple copies etc.

Fair point. I guess i feel when a boycott is called, theres usually a lot of vitriolic hate being spewed out that the people calling for it want it to be a lifelong boycott.

I think thats mainly from too much internet and hyperbole.

Also add in the fact people hate megacorps and seemingly want them all to fail, so why would they go crawling back?

Im more curious who actually listens to Bad Bunny.

I wouldn't know him because he simply isn't really known in Australia....unless I'm blind. However, the WWE have used his songs and even had him wrestle a few times.

In terms of popular artists, his name pops up, but I cant for the life of me name any of his songs.

Good on him and I hope he gets a lot of new fans from this.

Part of me has been very sceptical on the Saudi stuff ever since WWE announced they were going to start doing show there all those years ago.

I'd love to believe they are genuinely trying to course correct and right the wrongs of the past. I remember the promo packages in the WWE shows for Saudi Arabia, showing how far they've come in recent years....women can drive a car now! Lol

I wonder if theres much truth to them actually trying to make a change or not. They're certainly trying to put that across to the rest of the world.

Will be interesting to see how far some of these comics push the boundaries and if anyone gets abruptly stopped and taken away, never to be heard of again.....then again, with the amount of hush money they'll be getting, im sure they all be on their best behaviour

Does this count as income? If so, figure out what taxes i need to pay first (I'm so exciting!) Then I'd probably buy a few things that need replacing around the home. Maybe about $10k worth of stuff.

I'd probably invest or chuck the rest into a savings account or something like that. Maybe buy myself a new car, nothing fancy though.

If you live in the country, yes, this can happen.

Some places still have a thunderbox (Aussie word for outhouse) where its almost idea conditions for them. Its not uncommon for people to joke to check under the lid before you just plonk your ass down.

I stayed at a friend's coast house one time and I saw a frog come up through the toilet.

In cities and suburbia, you're fine. You've got to watch out for the drop bears though!

Maybe if she could git gud :P i bet shes one of those who wants difficulty in the Souls games too!

I kid, but what she's saying is a bit out there. Also, if you're going to drop a hot take or know something is going to stir the pot, you are not allowed to be "don't @ me"

Maybe she also needs to accept that not everything is meant for everyone? There's so many games, media, sport, whatever else that doesnt appeal to me, I'm not the demographic, or its not marketed towards me.

There's a weird entitlement going around in recent years and when it isn't catered to, these people go off the deep end and throw a temper tantrum, usually in a public space (albeit an online public space), just like a toddler.

Social media was a mistake!

My housemate's work installs these. They can be easy or a nightmare depending on brand of unit and car make/model.

He installed a Kayhan unit in his car and I havent ever heard a good word from him about it haha. He should have left it alone.

I used to drink because my depression was too much and wanted to off myself while "having a good time"

It made everything so much worse. And sometimes I'm amazed I'm still here with how much I used to drink.

Short answer, dont do it.

Read this gave me a kind of epiphany of sorts. Nostalgia in some degree could be looked at as depression, depending on your mindset. Especially if youre longing for things to go back to how they once were.

What if they do what they did with Silksong? Have so much fun making a dlc they turn it into a fully fledged game. Then we get years of radio silence and the internet's entitlement starts showing and they call Team Cherry clowns again. Then they decide, you know what, fuck those people. This project is scrapped ala Phil Fish and Fez 2.

Hmmm will the shrooms counteract the anxiety i get from smoking weed? I curbed my depression years ago and now anxiety ruins me!....well not really, but it is an issue....likely would be fixed if I stopped smoking haha

Cipher is great already. Loved that guy in Midnight Mass, glad to see him here. He reminds me of Justin Long a little. Looks and acting, especially in Midnight Mass, he had that nervous energy that could suddenly be harnessed to overcome whatever.

Looking forward to the rest of the seasons. I loved the Emma/Rememberer scene. Fucking hilarious!

Yoghurt is life for me.

I always get plain and flavour it myself. Chuck some chia seeds and a bunch of nuts (sometimes frozen berries)in there. If you want it to be a bit chocolatey, add some Cocoa powder and you're set!

I hope we get the finale.....eventually. I'm curious to see where they go with Nemesis. Will we get part of the game in space!?

Will be sad to not hear Lance, I guess we'll still have his likeness in the character model. I wonder if they'll leave that alone or alter it with the cast change. I think I recall something about Guerrila reaching out to his family to get their blessing on some things.

I love them! Favourite horror franchise in a loooong time. Cool ti see the journey through time and how the budget has grown.

Art is probably the best silent antagonist. His mannerisms and emotion he shows really sells it for me. I cant take it seriously, despite the fucked up stuff going on.

The bedroom scene in 2 was more funny than gross out or extreme to me. Same how over the top everything was in 3. How can the Santa scene happen and I'm still cheering for Art?

Sienna sucks though. Im ok with a final girl or whatever, but she is more annoying and the mystery stuff with her dad is a bit cringe. I suspect we'll get back story eventually?

I had a dog when I was younger, didnt click with me at the time. Preferred cats.

As an adult I started with cats and eventually got a dog. I love both equally. Theyre very different in their wants and needs. They both show affection differently and are both great companions.

Never.

I haven't been in contact with anyone i went to school with for well over 15 years or so.

Only ever had a small social group and we all basically went our own directions after school finished.

Facebook suggested a 10 year anniversary for my year many, many years ago. I laughed and clicked ignore.

There was only ever one person i wanted to connect with back then and it never became something I hoped it would. Not something to dwell on though.

As good as a tool it can be, i dont feel drugs like ozempic actually face the root cause.

I notice a lot of people who go on it claim to have "tried everything" and diet is never mentioned.

I've had a few spells where I've gained a lot of weight and taken it off. During covid my exercise almost went to a standstill and I kept up with my good diet and managed to keep at or lose a slight amount of weight.

Diet is one of, if not the most important part with our health. Not just for weightloss, but everything else. You are what you eat.

By ignoring or not taking diet into account and putting full faith in these "miracle" drugs, you're very likely to fall back in where you were if you get off the stuff.

Which is probably what the companies are banking on. Life long ozempic users to get that sweet, sweet big pharma money under the guise of betterment of people's health.

Its not to say it doesnt work. Im sure there are plenty of examples out there.

I'd like to see some studies of people who solely relied on it to lose weight, not fix their diets and see where they are now. Whether theyre still on it or if they got off, did they have the skills necessary to stay healthy.

The Residence was a murder mystery limited run series that was very much this...even set in the White House. It was in the vein of the Knives Out movies. So was semi serious/comedy.

The fear was probably the worst fight in that game for non-lethal. I never knew about the exploit and always did it legit. Poisoning and tranq for him was rough.
