After certain points the gangs will send occasional hit squads after you, but that's about it.

If you're gonna be hacking you straight up require a deck, but it's in no way necessary for stealth. Crouch-running with a Sandy and the perk that activates camo breaks stealth just as hard as being able to hack.

The story is serious but there's definitely a lot of weird/quirky, especially in the sidequests.

"Stealth archer" isn't really a thing here (no sneak stat) but you can approximate it with perks, especially at higher levels.

That was my favorite episode of the whole series so far.

I loved Agnes, honestly, and I loved her coming into her own as a person to the point she becomes part of Enid and Wednesday's circle.

Also lol at Bruno being the romantic false lead.

The way Sun talked like a stereotype gangster despite being a proper lady was great.

The Switch basically altered my brain as for what I want in a console. If a console isnt a hybrid device, I just flat out dont see the point of it anymore versus just playing on a PC.

So the Switch 2 being a better Switch? Easy buy for me. The PS5/XBox whatever the fuck its called? Not remotely interested, and exclusives arent a swaying factor for me anymore.

edit - admittedly, when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out in a decade, well see if that holds true.

What you're having trouble fathoming is the difference between fully integrated central air with well placed thermostats and a bunch of AC units. A central HVAC system that circulates air and has an outdoor fan blower is far more precise than a window or floor unit and the circulation creates even temperature changes that can be felt. Plus HVAC units also reduce humidity which also has a noticeable impact on how the temperature "feels" which is probably playing a part as well.

This is sensible enough and we can work with it.

The difference in F is more subtle than C, sure.
My take is: does that even matter, if its i dunno 58 outside, maybe it is too warm, no idea honestly but lets just assume its warm, if you are out and about can you really tell when the temperature goes up or down 2 or 3 degrees? how much does it vary on a warm day from morning to noon and then to sunset? is that something that can be genuinely intuited?

Because if not, then I cannot see any argument on how F would allow for greater precision in practice because people cant really tell differences of individual degrees just like its useless to have decimals in C which is possible but not really practical or needed.

I really want to like it but I dont care for the cartoony art style and bug aesthetic. All the enemies look the same

This. I got hooked quick and really, really got into the universe and lore because the mechanics are just so tight. Was able to get the 100% in Steel Soul and the 100% in less than 20 hours and finish the game in less than 10 hours, all in one run... super proud of that. The run before I literally died at the Hollow Knight after getting to down to one health and pausing to cancel out to the menu... but unpaused and died. I literally lay down on the floor in disbelief and anger at myself. Been some highs and lows haha

Not buying it. The first game gets tons of praise and it just absolutely does not interest me at all. Shame since so many people here seem to love it but I know it is not for me. I know my tastes well and that game just doesn't do it for me. This one looks to be just more of the first game so pass.

(fake)Verso spends the entire game trying to find a way to kill himself and in the end Maelle repaints him to be an old(er) piano playing party dog because she naively believes he will be happy as long as he can (maybe) die of natural causes one day (assuming Maelle doesnt just repaint him to be younger again). Ignoring the cruelty of that, Aline and Maelle are both demonstrated to be addicts, and in Maelle's ending we see the painting corruption / sickness taking hold of her so its implied she will not be able leave on her own despite her compromise with Renoir.

I think both outcomes are negative endings, but at least in Verso's ending we know at least 1 party member manages to survive and that (real)Verso's soul is allowed to finally rest.

Maelle's ending is the same a verso's ending with extra steps. Aline & Maelle die in the canvas and then Renoir destroys it anyway. All the while Maelle is fucking with everyone like "It's a good life"

I beat that snake boss on the map last night. I think it took an hour and I regret my strategy. Since it absorbs all AP ever turn I tried a strategy stacking the combo attack and buff pictos for your basic attack but I don't think that was the play. Most of my damage came from popping Sciel at like 20 moon cards and using Monoco's level 1 gradient while the boss was stunned.

Shield really is invaluable since in practice you can compare it to giving yourself an extra 9999 health per stack or something. In Media Res feels mandatory on the high difficulty setting.
