I played and beat dmc 2 just to say I did, and while it was garbage, I personally was glad to play it because it made dmc 3 look like the second arrival of heaven. Like yeah 3 is already one of the greatest games of all time, but playing it after 2 just makes it seem otherworldly amazing.

Playing dmc 1 was fun because besides the fact that I instantly took a liking to it and the series as a whole, I too instantly recognized the re 4 foundations and it made me the experience that much more ethereal and awesome.

It is legit wild to me how 4 years ago s1 seemed so interesting, and besides the ridiculously laughable loki-cest weirdness the story was intriguing. Mobius was likable. The TVA and renslayer mystery was a hook. Meeting all the loki variants at the end of time was one of my favorite episodes, both hilarious and somewhat heartfelt.

But now it's just so uninteresting and I feel nothing. That ending did nothing for me, I was just like um okay.

I blame the s1 finale villain reveal. It is massively underwhelming and I don't know if you need to be a comic book fan to appreciate whoever that was but jeez that performance is annoying.

I could see Spanish becoming the bonafide language of the world someday. Mandarin despite its amount of speakers just isn't that useful worldwide.

I do find it interesting that multiple sources are of the opinion that if any language were to overtake it would be Spanish, but that one also has evolved into many different dialects and terms hasn't it. Like even with Spain regions itself, let alone most of South America

Considering this is an rpg, which has heavy emphasis on story and by extension voice acting, I'd say it's pretty damn important. Losing the voices for Mitsuru and Akihiko is enough of a deal breaker to make P3 FES infinitely better than the remake.

But new people to P3 won't have known what we lost so they probably won't see a problem with the remake, and that's fine. But it is kinda wild that we still technically do not have a definitive version of Persona 3 yet even after all this time.

Hell it's been nearly 5 years, at this point by the time studios finally give ps5 their full attention, the ps6 will be announced/released. Shit's wild how long it took to get the gen started off the ground.

Think maybe, will they back port it to ps4 like some other ps5 games?

You know when young sheldon was first announced I was like lol no way this will be successful, it'll fall the way of Joey and other crummy spinoffs from popular shows. But when it went on for like, 7 seasons, I realized I have no fucking clue how the mainstream audience TV landscape works. Good shows seem to get canceled or always on the verge of cancellation, and terrible-to-mediocre shows seem to thrive. I just don't get it.

What's odd is, why did they wait like 6 years after the show ended to announce this, hasn't the bbt thunder died down considerably.

I too have return on wii, but never played it past the first stage (by the time of the wii era I wasn't really feeling 2d Kirby and they didn't seem like a fun solo adventure, but the demo for Kirby forgotten land instantly won me over)

Ever since I lost weight though, my GERD has reduced significantly (not 100%, but a lot), so I don't need it anymore. But yeah, it is dope af.

Sadly, you couldn't actually explore it because the region is just selecting your location in the list, and there are no Wild Pokemon.

Could it have been hardware constraints? With hardware constraints no longer being an issue, could they make the region explorable?

Some people have said that as great as the arkham series is, it's to blame for the progression of harley quinn's character popularity that led to the awful margo robbie ss harley quinn and her overexposure in everything.

A country like England living by the sea: frigging fish and "chips" inedible nonsense. Imagine taking the blandest of fish and just encasing it in a gross batter. Deep fried stuff in general is so unappetizing.

You know what's another lame move? Not having all the game's party members in cutscenes or Tales-esque skits, just the active members. I think most modern games have eliminated that lameness, but this also includes just random bits of dialogue strewn throughout the game.

I love certain games where if you're exploring a forest, cave or what have you the party members (active, reserve or otherwise) banter with each other or put their 2 cents in on the current surroundings and situation. It shows the devs actually took time to immerse you in that world, making full use of the voice acting or writing.

You know, the difference between Loki s1 and s2 really exemplifies just how much the pandemic had a hand in making me watch mcu again. I had sworn mcu off after how garbage avengers 3's reveal was, but then the pandemic hit and in wanting to watch stuff to pass the time I came back. Loki s1 was pretty hype at the time and seemed really interesting.

I'm trying to watch s2 and it's just. so. boring. It's not just bad tv, they keep trying to push this he who remains dude so much but right out of the gate he's a garbage character played by an annoying actor, so they instantly lost me.

And Sylvie's pretty annoying too this season. The mcdonalds plug lasting more than one episode wasn't particularly amusing.

Ok that sounds neat as hell, tell me more. Is it like in Paper Mario 2 where the audience can throw things at the enemy to damage them and can throw healing items at you to heal you whilst battle is ongoing?

It sounds like the next best thing to having all party members on screen fighting, having the reserve at least contribute in some way.

I also appreciate games that let reserve party members level up with the active party because forcing us to regrind another team is a bitch move that was barely excusable in ps1 era processing power and definitely isn't excusable in the past 25 years. That's just tedious.

This, how is that poll option not winning. Especially in the modern age. We excused 4 party members in the past because of hardware constraints but by golly that should no longer be an issue.

Still, any game that has even less than 4 active party members in a game with multiple members... why even bother making a jrpg. I'd sooner prefer a solo at that point.

Gamepass means free right? For free yeah it's a good time. A lot of frustrations and I just played through the levels, only did a couple of certain extra levels before going meh. As a platformer fan I'm partial to even mediocre ones.

Nah, wait longer if you're not hurting for cash. It'll probably be a good 10-20 years before the price really shoots up, though.

I'm not hurting for cash, but I feel like if I'm waiting 10-20 years, I might as well not sell it because by then an extra grand isn't really gonna do anything for me, when my purchases are gonna be houses, which are millions, and cars which are hundreds of grands. It won't even pay for private school tuition.
