Agreed. Nintendo technically showed more games AND gameplay, but a few of them were stinkers. The Metroid trailer showed nearly nothing and somehow ended up being so boring even hideki kamiya had to call it out on Twitter.

Are the saying most of the Xbox stuff showed was samey to each other, or that the Xbox and Sony showcases were similar?

I don't think either statement is true, but the second would be especially ridiculous.

I think both the Xbox and Nintendo showcases showed good variety

Strong list then. Is it worth adding Steamworld Heist 2 in August? First one was a fun tactical strategy game.

And maybe Enotria in September

Confused by the already out. You are going back to Alan Wake 2, which means you are leaving out a LOT. Unless you just re added Alan Wake 2 because of the recent DLC release.

No. I'm saying they should be insulted for that specifically, independently of their sex lives.
That's fine. I generally don't say incel anymore because it causes too many arguments about terminology. But I never said it is okay for promiscuous people to be misogynistic or that they never are misogynistic. You seemed to imply that I said that back on the sex board. I never would have. Sounds like some weird misunderstanding.

And if you read my follow up paragraph about virgins in general (from post 12 which you didn't quote), it is clear that I don't treat them negatively.

That's why I haven't even thought about getting TotK yet.
That will then be 2 years prior to the release of the console. And the Switch was a massive success unlike Wii U, so I wouldn't count on everything being ported. What if it just has backward capability?

Prime 4 will likely be released around the Switch 2 release window so that is a completely different situation.

Definitely looks good so far.
You might as well beat the standard game. The boss that you must beat to get to the DLC is not quite the endgame area, but in an optional area that is almost as rough.

Hm. But IIRC from the sex board. if a sexually successful individual was similarly toxic, you still haven't generally approved of them being insulted for promiscuity or anything.

I just don't think we can have this sort of favoritism where some virgins/dry spellers are fair game to be mocked for their status but no people getting around are.
So you are defending toxic, misogynistic guys who blame others for their problems? Okay.

I don't insult virgins or promiscuous people. I will go after anyone for being toxic and misogynistic. Why would you assume I wouldn't?

To me, the word incel should only be used regarding men who are super bitter, misogynistic, and blame women/society/Chads for their own problems. They don't necessarily have to be virgins, but at the very least they are currently unable to get laid.

It is NOT synonymous with virgins, as I don't ridicule people simply for that. I try to help them, assuming they even want help. People can be asexual or even just be happy alone. That's cool. I only want people to be happy with their lot in life, and not toxic toward others.

It could be just burnout. I went through stages like that too. During my teens the only thing I played were shooters. I eventually burned out hard on that and went back to platformers and turn based RPGs. Then I went to reaction based games like rhythm and shmups. Then I cycle through them.
I am hoping that playing Baldur's Gate 3 recently and then the upcoming Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and maybe Metaphor: ReFantazio turn things around. What is with the awful names btw?

Sony definitely at the bottom drinking dogwater, they're asleep at the goddamn wheel and deserve the failures coming their way

I get it. Went through about 8 weapon phases (scythes, spears, greatswords, great clubs then dual wielding them) and regularly changed up my fashion to keep things fresh. If I try to lock in on a specific build everything starts feeling the same after awhile and I just want to get to the end.
I should do this. Spent most of the game with Bloodhound's Fang. Inflicting bleed on bosses is satisfying

It's my least favorite of the 4 Castlevania games I've played, but it's still decent. Like bsp said, the second half of the game is when it becomes a Metroidvania and when it improves imo.
I think it depends on what you want. I enjoyed how the first half harkened back to the really tough NES side scrollers. I might have actually enjoyed the first half more despite being a big Metroidvania fan.
