When I made this post, it was to point out the failings of videos as a good solution for game help.

And they are...the reasons they are inferior to written guides are numerous, I dont doubt I could make a list like others gave if I really had to.

But as bad as they are...videos blow posting for help yourself out of the damn water. Actually making a post and waiting for a response which may not even be correct...yeah no...that crap is feeble as hell. What if your game is obscure and nobody posts on any of its message boards anymore? And again...and most important...what if the only responder gets everything wrong or us simply a toxic hateful child? Let's not make it sound like a good thing to rely on such people okay?

If the other choice is posting for it myself, yeah in that case I'll just take the shitty video. But still, prefer to not have to do either.

Ask for something simple, like where to go next after getting an item or completing a specific task...and usually the first result you get directed to is a play through video that's like 30 minutes with only 3 or 4 seconds that you have to scrub the video for showing the actual thing you're asking about.

Oh and you get the obnoxious playthrough guys screaming and overdramatic voiceovers on top of that free of charge, you're welcome.

Why is this horrible trend a thing nowadays?

Sometimes I'm just in a hurry, need to pee or poop and don't have a bottle at hand. It seems like a design flaw that cars we pay 10k or more for don't have any kind of functionality for such a basic need. No, pottys in RVs etc don't count because they require cleaning and maintenance...where my idea wouldn't...it'd just be a hole, which is self cleaning, simple and effective.

First, you and your girlfriend need to reduce global population to at least 1/10th the current amount

At this point there will be devastation and a lot of wahh wahhs... but once that's all over the world will rebuild and existing jobs will need people who specialize in certain skills...so they wont get 100 applicants for even meaningless positions and will take whatever they can get to help get things done for actual important roles. Politics about hair color will be a thing of the past for sure.

Your girl will now be able to freely get the kind of jobs she thinks she's owed already.

She was right...just forgot to have the apocalypse first to convert the job market into a buyer's market. Once that's done her feelings here will actually be relevant.

My mind had completely just assumed "bad" based on the title over and over and over and it was more or less just an understood fact that any movie under the "Halloween" brand was not going to be good.

Worked in insurance for about year...enough to see that theres almost never an accident that couldn't have been avoided if the person wasnt negligent... unless it's done to a parked vehicle (and sometimes even not those) so yeah I dont see the point of giving anyone a pass just because what they did is technically called an accident. Cheaters call hooking up with someone who's not thier significant other and repeatedly and purposefully ramming private parts together and accident as well...dont you know?

If everyone else is out in the same rainstorm not having that same accident what makes the person who fucked up special...besides thier own unique negligence and/or carelessness?

Being caught up in those aren't my favorite situations, either. But I just imagine them as being incredibly embarrassed - that's good enough for me.

I doubt they are...they probably are justifying it all as unavoidable as worthless idiots often do.

And even if they are...its not enough.
