I do expect that on some level Trump regrets the Kavanaugh nomination. He chose a moderate to try to do a bit of compromise and it won him no points from the left at all. So he might as well have chosen a hard right ideologue. And the next R president might feel that way.

It is adorably naive of you to think Trump actually cares about any of that.

Nothing has dethroned Age of Ultron and Iron Man 2 as the two worst movies.

Quantumania had a lot of rough edges and disappointment but it didn't cross the line for me of just being straight-up bad. Even though many pieces of it were (like MODOK).

Ino was garbo and Masha was fine. But yeah, neither was super exciting. The challenge battles were also nothing special.

The only thing I didn't do in base game was kill all UM's (and finish Triton's class and make all level 10 gems). Aside from that, I did all quests and got affinities all up to full and fought the superbosses.

More than I did in XBC2 (and about the same as I did in XBC1, though I actually didn't finish that game).

So yeah, that's the person I am. How much is there if I want to explore everywhere and do side quests?

I beat XBC3 a few days ago and then did all post-game content and have been watching videos.

I want to play Future Redeemed, but TotK is coming up... and I'm sure this DLC is like 40 hoursish?

Harley landed low given my expectations!

Her voice is done really well - she's appropriately kooky, sympathy-inducing (I didn't want to say pitiful but), crazy and scary, but also just sweet and lovable.

I think she lands really close to her earlier animated iterations, but from the times when she was a character who earned great sympathy.

It'd be nice to see more of her/the squad in action, so hopefully we'll get that soon. Harley is capable of playing the anti-hero... But we have to get her there a bit, I think, lol

Guessing Oracle

Gal was not my expectation! But that's fine - I think she's a lot of fun and stands out, but there's some more development that I think she'll have soon that will do more for her.

Guessing Freddy, Eve, or Deadshot for this. I'll go with Eve.

Iolande is a good guess for this particular hint but I think this is still too low for her anyway? She did have all of Korugar before this.

Snapper has had some real good stuff lately.

Catman and Freddy I think as well - could be in a prime position to drop here.

I do find it a little curious that Saoirse, someone who always wanted a kid, ended up having one of sorts... But through more of a process of grafting, and also the kid is a a scarf (and a total brat).

Saoirse has been around the horn with June a lot and it's hard to really nail that relationship down since it's developed so much... There was a point I expected Saoirse to break ties with Ragman as a trainer (since she'd trust him more with someone like Bunny or Traci) and do the 'self-sacrificial' thing of making June her teacher, but that hasn't happened.

Still, it's interesting... I don't know if June is capable of affection, but I think she is approaching what it is with Saoirse - she hasn't really held back from showing her nature, but I think she may also be coming to realize that Saoirse diving in isn't necessarily based out of naivety, and may be less about self-destruction than it was before.

All that to say that I'm always excited to see where this pair of witches develops to.

Either converting Varra to a Fury or something to do with Brennus, methinks

I have a theory that Brennus has spoken to Lex in the campaign multiple times already.

Lex uses the Secret Six to dismantle the Society bit by bit by putting them directly against him? And he designed things so that the Secret Six was the strongest team he could get, knowing they'd be best prepped to help take them all down?

Lex actually was plus value for draft! Glad I snagged him.

Lex is a looming spectre over this campaign. His role in the Society is so big - he's the boss. He's had a hand in so many things, with so many people.

The thing is, Lex is xenophobic. Very xenophobic. It's on his character sheet. So when he thinks aliens are a detriment to the rise and power of Earth's race to grow and look after themselves... Why ally with Darkseid?

We've got pretty good information that the Calculator used his foreknowledge to warn some people of A-Day, but why would Lex to through with it? Or was Lex just used? Is his thirst for vengeance enough to have him hand the planet over? Did he get in over his head and realize that Darkseid was going to win, so he had to be in some place of power to eventually fight back? Is he crazy? Is he good? Will he kiss Waller again?

I dont think there are more questions about any villain than there are about Lex... Maybe Eclipso and the Spectre, maybe BIG HANDS, but man, Lex has such a big footprint for a guy whose only appearance in 112 weeks was in a memory of Bloodwynd, working alongside what has to be Superboy Prime.

I have things to say about Lex, but guessing Darkseid or June here

To build off of this... Jason was a silly character. He was this guy that was retroactively added into scenes, and it was a great vision just imagining the video of seeing scenes we've already seen but with him in there... Like a Forrest Gump type deal.

Anyway, Jason ended up being somebody... Almost a rebound of sorts for Saoirse... And I was happy to have everyone get some more screentime with him. But something was going to come at some point...

I fully expected Jason to die. I thought he was going to get killed or turned by OMAC's. I did not expect him to be the problem... And that betrayal was just so sweet.

Saoirse has had this issue with putting him off... And it's been on my list to do more about him, but I started with "we can't blindly chase him down even though I want to". So I kind of need to gain ground with those feelings again... It's a little messy but I'm doing my best.

Also interesting is that Saoirse just was driven by anger to defeat Ragnar, and given the opportunity to let Iolande kill him, Saoirse pleaded for mercy. So what happens when she gets her claws into Kobra? Can she let herself be driven by rage here?

It's a fascinating study with my character, and I wish I didn't let it sit for so long.

I'm going to kill him.

My boyfriend!

Jesse is a character who I think would benefit greatly from us pursuing his personal story. He's always had such a great voice - taking him to the field to find Tulip would make for a pretty special time.

I'm glad he's been getting involved with Sam stuff. I know we have a huge cast, but it's interesting how different the campaigns have been in terms of our characters going to Jesse - he really was one of the leaders and inspirations that we could go to in campaign 1, and here he hasn't risen to the same role despite being accessible early.

I wonder if it's a case of wider cast, or something to do with the nature of the world - campaign 1 we were always looking for leaders we could rely upon and trust - here, we have the leaders already. Or at least, we're the leaders. It's a curious difference.

Xanadu is really great..I think the nature of her, being in mystery and as a witchy fortune teller type makes her a little less approachable - but when she is approaches it's always great.

Saoirse took Bunny to her recently, and Xanadu told Bunny, in no fancy words at all: "You are not a burden."

It was really touching.

Jinal is super cool! I'm excited to get back to Skartaris - we just were focused on Starsa and got to space, and since then there's been a little apprehension since Jennifer is a captive of Deimos and all.

I'll admit, I considers using my free nat 20 on a convincing lie to Tara Morgan. Now... I'm a little scared to return, lol. But Saoirse doesn't know the full truth!

Knight as Will Arnett was great because a lot of the players hadn't seen Arrested Development - which means they had less context when Knight, Squire, and previous Knight all demonstrated what they thought a chicken sounded like.

I wasn't expecting Vostok to not make it, though i guess there are sides to her that we do not quite get to exploring. She's such a mainstay that it's hard not to think of her among the upper echelon of our NPC's.

I didn't say anything about Arisia, but she is adorable and a hoot. And, honestly, a little unnerving sometimes. Combining the childlike innocence with the, well, matured adult, by rights makes her relationship with Hal et all better, but it's still a little uncomfortable!

Which is, of course, great.

Shiva is really cool - I'm excited to see her again when we head back for Hartford. And to get my dog!

I like Lono not being in Z'onn Z'orr. He is a great ally to have, if uneasy, in the field. But I feel like bringing him home to domestication is not a good fit.

Seems like we'll carry him around for quite a bit longer - have to see how the new revelations with the Trust tie in to things. Lono expressed taking out members of the Trust - but so did our new friend, Megan Dietrich. But neither of the two know about the other yet.

We'll have to see where that all goes. I am curious to see how Miami develops (though some PC's need to invest in ranged weaponry first imo)

Hrm... the closest in draft value is Lex Luthor, at 1 away.

I'm always a little unsure with Lizzie because I read the series she's from, along with Tommy Taylor, so for th emost part, I'm just along for the ride. Still, Saoirse thinks she's awful and should stop being mean to Lush.

Thom has been all over the place - he started out in our jail, but after some work from Saoirse, got to be more exposed to ZZ and eventually allowed to live in a room. Then, eventually cleared for field duty. He was a handful in Japan, but in spite of that, Saoirse recently sent him to San Fran (under Jack Knight's insistence).

He's gone from having really sweet personal moments to blowing up seriousness at points - one thing's for sure, he's never boring or predictable.

I haven't really interacted with Roulette much since Spirit naturally has no interest in Metabrawl, especially since it actually has measures to stop him from getting new patients out of it.

I'm looking forward to when we get Obrov to Z'onn Z'orr, he was one of Roulette's favorites in campaign 1.
