The fact that the trilogy was still better than the prequels despite clear direction is impressive.

I haven't seen all of them, but I disagree with this statement. I'd say they are pretty equally terrible.

The prequels have a better overall plot and setting, and at least a few characters I care about. The Sequels did nothing but crap all over the OT.

Just like Indiana Jones, there are only three Star Wars movies.

take out the christmas part, and the movies are the same

Bruce isn't flying out just to visit an office party. Flying out for Christmas, however, is an entirely different thing. I suppose it could be Thanksgiving, but most offices don't have thanksgiving parties.

The only people I go out of my way to tip on cruises are the room stewards because they usually do an awesome job and the server at the dining hall because its normally the same person for the whole cruise. If Im just ordering some drinks or something I usually dont bother with a tip.

if I do an excursion tour or something off of the cruise Ill normally tip the guide if they do a good job

This right here. Room stewards are typically tipped. When I worked on the cruise line they got tipped about $1 / day from the crew. The waiter is usually tipped because you will have the same waiter every day of the cruise (assuming you eat the standard meals).

The rest is pretty much as needed. All drinks are extra (alcoholic) and not included in the price. This is what trips up most cruise-goers. Most don't bother to tip since they already pay extra.

I don't recall 100% - but the cabin crew pretty much lives off tips and the waiters as well. The bartenders / etc are paid decent apart from tips.

I got into STEM completely by accident. I had a job after my first semester and it paid off the rest of my degree. I've been in and out of my field over the last 10 years and I never stop getting calls for work.

Like anything else, I'm sure it depends on what industries exist where you are. Your best bet is to see what the local community college teaches in the area you live in - they usually only have degrees for what is short-staffed locally or qualifies you for employment in the major industries in your area.

If I recall, it had more to do with how inaccurate rifles were coupled with rate of fire and approaching melee combatants.

By lining up square, the first line could kneel and the second line could have rifles over the shoulders of the first creating a compact firing range. They didn't aim at targets, they just tried to keep an area filled with flying shrapnel. Good units could fire several times a minute if I recall.

It depends on the location. It isn't just the ghetto.

People may have lived in a certain area for generations and have their houses paid off. Five years later, they are paying more in property taxes than they ever paid in house payments and they can't afford to live there anymore - even if their home is paid off.

Kinda sucks.

You are wrong and right.

First of all, college is just as much about the education as the networking. I didn't realize/know that the first time through, I just put my head down and did the work and didn't care at all about the professors.

The second time through, I made sure to know the professors, ask questions, put effort into my assignments, and ensure I had someone who I could use as a reference in the future. It has paid off more than once.

After some time, you'll find some professors are actually passionate about their work and keep in touch with the industry they are involved in - and you can get job leads through them. Some professors don't care and are just professional instructors with no involvement in the industry.

I'm so biased but honestly there was just nothing like Zelda 1 at the time. I played it for so many hours.. That, Commando, and Metroid were the games my buddy had that really sold me on wanting to get a Nintendo in the first place.

Hell its one of those games I could probably pick up and play right now and plow through the whole thing today, even though I haven't played it in years.

Zelda I and Metroid I are the kind of games where the context of that era help significantly. ALttP and Super Metroid both took what worked in the originals and fixed what didn't. Zelda was especially hindered by wonky translations that made some secrets pretty hard to decipher without a guide, and a lot came down to bomb every wall and try to burn every bush.

Well yes, but actually no.

Old games used to come with these wonderful things called manuals, maps, and charts. Many of the Zelda secrets were not that difficult to find back in the day, and were in fact written in publications.

The second quest, however, was a completely different story.

But, I would recommend to play 1,4,5 and 6 some time. 2 is bad, 3 is decent, but it can be brutally difficult at times. Skip 8. There are people that like 8. Those people are crazy.

I'd go with this advice and skip everything after 6. 1, 4, 5 and 6 are the best games in the series.
