Most of the screenshots look pretty sweet, but I have a feeling it will be like 1 episode of the classic look/style and then it will bait and switch us into some updated crap. In particular, I'm worried based on the one picture in these screens: https://screenrant.com/masters-universe-revelation-show-images-release-date-netflix/ 3rd from the bottom shows Teela and Evil-Lyn looking very different. I have a sinking feeling that this will be about as good for the He-Man universe as the sequels were for the Star Wars universe. |

| kukukupo 06/03/21 7:13:38 AM #13 | While I grew up with PC gaming and was somewhat used to load times (or disk swaps), I also grew up with the NES/SNES with zero loading times. I really stopped liking most games in the late 90's early 2000's when it started taking 5 minutes to get from pressing the power button on the console to actually playing. The 10+ splash screens, the loading screen for each one, only to get to a menu screen, press start and hit another loading screen for the game to start. BORING! It only got worse as the years have gone on and now there are incomplete games ("early access") and micro-transactions. You really have to wade through a lot of crap to find a gem any more. |

The only ones I feel truly sorry for are kids under 12 who can't get the vaccine. True, most of them have no symptoms, but a very small percentage are getting really, really sick. |

Not terribly - since immigrants will pay some local taxes because of how they are structured (sales tax, gas tax, etc.) If they are willing to come to our country to make a better life, more power to them as long as they can obey our laws and aren't trafficking drugs or people. |

This happened two days after he was arrested, and apparently the detox process for meth lasts several days and was a contributing factor to his death. (I know nothing about meth addiction - just information I got from another thread) |

Masks were removed at my work today - so no more masking. Most people work pretty far apart anyway, so it wasn't a big deal IMO. They just told everyone at my office it is time to come back - minimum 2 days a week in the office moving forward and all days in the office after July 4th. Two people retired last week - I'm guessing it isn't coincidental. |

Nearly every sign out front was changed from 'must wear a mask' to 'unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask. Two of the establishments I visited had a sign out front stating their workers were vaccinated. Looks like Target, CVS, Costco, Walmart, etc are all dropping mask requirements. I thought for sure the whole unmasking phase was going to go much slower - but in a matter of days they are nearly non-existent in my every-day life. |
