It's light as fuck compared to the 3DS XL. The lack of 3D doesn't bother me at all because I don't like the 3D one bit, it was a useless gimmick.

I got the Pikachu edition and it's cute as fuck, the cheeks and the nose come out, which makes it even cuter. The only thing is, it makes it hard to put in and take out (more so taking it out) of my Personal Q carrying case because of the nose and cheek grooves.

BTW, I got it mostly to play FE Warriors, and found out that it doesn't have any chars from FE1-6(other than the ones that were lucky enough to get a remake), and only Lyn from FE7. The fuck, give me my Hector, goddamn it!

Yeah any time I've had to report misconduct it has made things worse in general. No one should be trying to shove things into your body. And no one should be making your life hell by putting that on you. Once they do even fighting back and trying to prevent further issues can have negative consequences for you. It shouldn't. But it plays out that way.

Yeah, I always thought they exaggerated what females have to go through when they report stuff. That experience was a real eye opener, and I'm kind of glad it happened, even though it was horrible.

When I did that, everyone but like 5 people in my platoon turned on me. I became an outcast for speaking up. Even some of the Drill Sergeants were making light of the situation, saying that when guys are cooped up together for so long, they end up blowing things out if proportion and that it didn't need to be reported. Then and there, I was able to experience what a lot of girls have to go through first hand, and it's not a pleasant experience. It got so bad that I requested to be moved to a battery that was a week behind just to get away from it all. One of the actually good Drill Sergeants talked me out of it, thank God.

Was I asking for it? Did I ask him to try and shove a broom stick up ass then regret it? I know false reporting does exist, but automatically jumping to it without knowing the truth is straight up fucked up.

I only watched season 1, and thought it was overrated as hell. Annoying characters, constant stupid deux ex machina BS with the little girl(I forgot her name, I want to say Seven, but that's the Borg lady from Voyager), and the story is just OK, IMHO.

The one I want to work at is only one step above minimum security. People are in there for fraud, money laundering, etc...

My friend that's worked there for about a 10 years ago said he hasn't seen any riots, dangerous situations, or even had to beat up an inmate. He did however said he had to man handle a few, but nothing too serious.

It's worth pointing out that with that kind of money, you can afford to do a lot of charitable work you wouldn't be able to afford on 50k a year, especially if you're supporting a family at the same time. The job isn't bad, the hours kind of suck, but the work it self isn't bad at all.

Nobodys gonna look out for you but you. The only way I can see something like a CO job being better is if its unionized/has better benefits. But with that amount of pay difference Id be surprised if theres any way whatsoever that they could reasonably match that. You might as well just stick it out. Hell, if anything just manage your funds and pack away enough into savings that you eventually switch to a job where you get to help people like you want to.

Yeah, this is prolly what I should do, I keep wanting to justify the pay cut, but the difference is too much.

I posted this in Doctor Foxx's advice topic, but she seems to have abandoned it, so I'm making a topic. I know the chances of me getting genuine advice is rare, but fuck it. I already put it out there, so I guess posting it one more time won't change anything.

Right now, I'm making about 72k a year driving a Vacuum Truck in the oil field. If I do it for another 4 1/2 months, I can move up to driving a Kill Truck, which would pay a little closer to 80k a year. Then if I do that for 5-10 years, I can become a Reverse Unit Operator, which gets about 150k a year.

The thing is, I enjoy jobs where I help people, and working in the oil field, I feel like I'm just helping Big Oil.

The job I've wanted for about 10 years now, is being a Correctional Officer for a federal prison, which starts off at 40k a year. My friend's been working there for almost 10 years now, and he's making over 50k(not sure how much over 50k).

I feel like for my family's sake, I should just stick it out in the oil field, but I've heard of people that chose careers they didn't want because of their family and end up resenting them as a result.

I don't remember much specific about it, but I recall it being fun and that the whole concept of circling enemies to catch them didn't get old.

It was similar to the first Pokemon Ranger game, but it was less frustrating (though the first game was also good).

That's good to hear, I was very skeptical on the mechanic of drawing circles around Pokmon, but I wanted to give it a chance.
