Played the Outland demo tonight. I was kinda unimpressed until I got Light/Dark abilities, and then it started to get really fun. Not sure if I'll purchase the game yet, but I'm intrigued, at least.
Played the Sonic Generations demo, too. Man, Sonic games haven't felt THAT good since S3&K. It was really like playing a Genesis Sonic. Can't wait for this game.
Played some inFamous, too. It's okay-ish so far, but hopefully, it'll get better once I get more powers. The powers seem kinda meh to use so far.

"Hold on a minute! That testimony stinks!" "Witness! You can't just say 'Hello' and expect us to get anywhere! I want you to testify!"
Okay, played a little bit more inFamous. Definitely getting better now that I have missions to do and a little more freedom to run through the city, gain XP, and upgrade my powers.
I do like this Karmic boost thing that changes things based on whether you commit good acts or bad acts, although I've heard that it doesn't impact the storyline very much, just Cole's powers.
Speaking of Cole, I feel like they're trying too hard to make him this Solid Snake type bad boy character. He's even got the Solid Snake voice!

Valkyria Chronicles is getting good. And its battles are getting longer. Man, it's like a rich chocolate cake. I'm good after one fight/slice per night.

Infamous gets better as you go, yeah. It may not seem like it at the start, but the story actually ends up being pretty enjoyable. That surprised me the most.

I was pretty much just running skirmish 2 (it takes very little time, like 5 moves or so) a few times for the EXP and then a mission every day, pretty much, yeah.

Donny: Are they gonna hurt us, Walter? Walter: No, Donny. These men are cowards.
Played some more inFamous. It's definitely starting to get better, and I'm getting more powers. The grenade toss thing is pretty awesome, although the enemy AI seems fairly smart and won't stand around when you throw one! I've started doing these side missions that remove enemy presence from an area because fighting Reapers sucks.
Game Dev Story is like that. it's a super duper struggle until you break through and then every game sells like 400 trillion copies and gets 8s and 9s. it's like the real world!

Oh jeez, I thought you had that power like 2 updates ago! Yeah it only gets better from there, especially as you get the movement powers
I just fought the boss of The Sky in Outland. Cool fight, although it made me feel dumb. First time I died trying to figure out what to do once in the sky. After that, I got him down to his last weak spot and died trying to stomp it to death. Twice.
Next time I fought him, I realized I could just hit that bit with the sword. augh
Played some more inFamous. Just got done with the train mission. That was pretty awesome and hectic. Fighting those Conduit Reapers can be pretty tense. I Electric Drop'd one right on the head and got a Stunt bonus for it, so that was awesome. Also, those kamikaze Reapers are the worst. Argh
I spent over an hour just doing the sidequests trying to clear Reapers out. I'm over 50% clear in the Neon District! The sidequests where you have to activate the satellite links are pretty fun because you get to do lots of climbing and ELECTRIC RAIL GLIDING. Not to mention, you get to get rid of Reapers without fighting any of them this way!

Got through the first part of the game (got 100% in the Neon District, too, aw yeah). That was...some boss fight. In the Warren now and fighting Dust Men.
But who cares about that, it's all about ELECTRIC AIR GLIDING
I like Canabalt. Akinator iphone is great for a two minute diversion. Sudoku and iPhone go together great too. PW1 is cool to have on the go but the old text speed can be brutal. swords and sworcery ep is a notable game too.
I can now confirm that dq6 does indeed have a class system. it seems kinda cool actually. too bad the game seems to grind to a halt after you beat the first big boss.
inFamous side missions are getting kinda repetitive at this point. They're mostly the same thing over and over with a slight variation. Activating the satellites is still cool though. Still, it's worth it to get rid of enemies because random ambushes suck.
Yeah, there's not much variety there. It mixes it up well enough in the Neon district, but from there it just reuses them. They didn't bother me much, though; I enjoyed doing them as they popped up.
RayDyn posted... The Sky boss in Outland is aggravating me.
A good tip for the last part - use that beam attack to hit the head. It'll take out the rest of his health in one try.

If I had any magic, I would, but I made the mistake of going in there without any.

Played some more inFamous. Some of these main missions in the Warren are getting pretty tough, like freeing the hostages from the boats, protecting Trish's bus on the way to the hospital, and destroying the machine gun buses.
Yes, you read that right.
Machine gun buses.
Anyway, the Dust Men are definitely a lot tougher than the Reapers. I can only imagine what the guys in the next district are going to be like. I've got 60ish% of the Warren district freed so far, too, so not bad.

The bus escort missions, ESPECIALLY the story one with Trish, are some of the worst in the game. I was playing on Hard my first time through so it was incredibly frustrating. And the third district is pretty tough.

Holy crap those massive Conduits that look like those stone guardian things from FFX, it's like a boss fight every time you run into one of those things, and then I had a segment where I had to fight two at once, whoaaaaaaaaa
I managed to max out my positive Karma, and I also completely upgraded my Force Lightning, which is nice. I got a little force shield thing, but it seems fairly limited in usefulness. I've got 90% of the Warren cleared out, so only a few more sidequests to do there. Been working on collecting all the Dead Drops. I've got 26 out of 32 so far. These things are certainly interesting, and they're putting a lot of the plot together.
Also, Zeke sucks. Worst sidekick type character ever
