JaKyL25 posted... I dunno, IMO a lot of what Madden says there is true, although yeah he's being quite an ass about it like he has an axe to grind or something.

As mentioned in yesterdays ROH Newswire (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/june-28th-newswire/), Ring of Honor officials were deliberating on how to handle the Kevin Steen situation after all of the chaos he caused at Best in the World 2011. It was an issue hotly debated amongst management and eventually the following ruling was made:
Effective today, Wednesday June 29th, stated ROH Executive Producer Jim Cornette, Kevin Steen is banned from ever showing his face at a Ring of Honor event, and should any person or persons attempt to bring him into an ROH event, they too will suffer harsh consequences. In addition, actions will be taken in the future to censor any mention or reference to his name. He made his feelings on Ring of Honor well known on Sunday with one select curse word, and quite honestly I would use the same phrase towards him after that display. So as a result of this new rule, this statement is the last time you will see Kevin Steens name mentioned by ROH officials, on ROHWrestling.com, in our Newswires, in our Video Wires, or on a DVD release. Thank you.
Trevor Murdoch: Well I got a call from Johnny Ace saying they weren't going to go threw with my contract. He told me "budget cut's". I say bull****. I think I'm done with pro wrestling. Anybody know of any job opening's?

We are thought, and reality, and concept, and the unimaginable
I don't really watch RoH (I know, I should!) but what exactly happened with Kevin Steen?
Went insane last year trying to rid the promotion of El Generico, his ex-partner, who he felt was holding him back all these years.
His mindset was fed into by Steve Corino who as we have learned since is simply addicted to being evil. Steen eventually got out of even Corino's control though, and it got to the point where every show with both Steen and Generico on it at some point erupted into a massive, destructive brawl between the two.
Steen's t-shirt during this time had this image on it
which he and Corino (and Corino's son) eventually managed to actually literally bring to life after a bloody chains match where he unmasked Generico:
Obviously such destruction could not continue forever, so at Final Battle 2010 they fought in a match where if Steen lost he would have to leave Ring of Honor forever, and after a fantastic battle that ended the feud of the year and the early frontrunner for feud of the decade 2010s, Steen lost.
Throughout the first half of 2011, Steve Corino has decided to break his addiction to being evil. Thus far he's done an admirable job, and with his sponsor Jimmy Jacobs seems to have turned over a new leaf, coming to the ring every time admitting that "My name is Steve Corino, and I am evil" as part of Step One to recovery. This newfound belief in second chances led to him requesting that Kevin Steen likewise get one. ROH officials said no, that the stipulation will stand and that Steen is not allowed back. Corino bought him a ticket to last weekend's iPPV, Best in the World, anyway.
Steen showed up before Corino's match and was promptly escorted out by security. After the match, as Corino and Jacobs were being assaulted by Corino's opponent and his manager, Steen re-appeared and got in the ring and helped clean house.
He then got on the microphone, surrounded by his friends Corino and Jacobs, and said "My name is Kevin Steen...and F*** RING OF HONOR!" and then proceeded to destroy Corino with a package piledriver. He was carried out by security through a rabid crowd on his back, middle fingers in the air triumphant, with a berserk Jim Cornette declaring that Kevin Steen would never be seen again in Ring of Honor, and he doesn't care who doesn't like it.
tl;dr He's the best Loose Cannon since Brian Pillman
