It could also potentially be argued that direct interference by the one running the contest to flatly prevent what is, with the current circumstances, a somewhat logical argument would make the contest less legitimate, rather than more.

The doctor was softbanned in the nom process, pretty sure I mentioned this. My stance on that hasn't changed in the same way I wouldn't have let the Wave Existence from Xenogears in.

Alright so, taking all this into consideration, here's my argument for how this match goes down.

The Host is aware of what the Audience wants. The Audience wants entertainment, and this random anime dude isn't providing it – like Wang said, he's a repeat performer, and like Kanz said, the Host does everything Neuro can do but better.

It's already been established that the Host can warp reality within his universe and summon individuals from other universes; furthermore, it's been established that the Host can manipulate other universes directly. It's also been shown that the Host is basically a giant troll and loves to get a rise out of people.

So, taking all these things into account, I am putting in a write-in vote. This is a completely valid strategy and argument given the above points: the Host is capable of bringing in another dude, it's in his personality to do so if the dude in question will provide entertainment, and it's to his benefit if the Audience will request it. Therefore, if enough people vote for the write-in, it's sure to advance.

I will naturally be voting for The Doctor, inside the TARDIS, because that's the character the Host – who's omniscient, after all – knows can potentially provide the most entertainment.

Nah, I don't think so. You explicitly allowed in a character whose powerset involves messing with stuff outside of his own universe. Hampering him due to bracket restrictions is pointless - by your own words, this is about who's most powerful, and if the Host can't fully exercise his powers, what's the point? Just because you "softbanned" a character doesn't mean the Host has to follow your wishes - after all, he's somewhat independent from the Audience and it's certainly within his powers to bring in the Doctor.

And if you're going to argue that it's a matter of two people fighting and not three, I never said all three had to be fighting - the Host can just sub out himself or Neuro for the Doctor and then manipulate the match thusly.

The Doctor being "run on fanboy logic" is precisely why the Host would pick him, btw - it's the most entertainment, both for the Audience and for himself. Besides, if we're disqualifying characters for being dictated solely by "fanboy logic," I'll direct you to this post:

Which was never contradicted outright and was subtly confirmed through arguments. You can't decry the Doctor for having that problem when you allowed in a character who has that problem and is omnipotent.

He gets his power from The Audience and does things to amuse and entertain The Audience. This is all true.

OTOH, he is one of those guys that feels he knows what is best for everyone so if he thinks it will be more entertaining to win despite The Audience wanting him to lose, he'll win.

Unless there are some major plot points I'm forgetting/misremembering from CC.
