Nothing like gaining a few ranks on a nice winning streak only to lose most of those stars back after getting salty over a bad game. Went from nearly getting to Rank 5 to 4 stars at Rank 7.

Just stole an arena game that went into double fatigue that I had no business winning. Last card in my deck was Courier, which gave me Kazakus, which gave me 10 armor that saved me from eventually losing to fatigue and the six damage board clear against a Kraken and The Beast, which I was only able to clear because the only other card in my hand was Arcane Explosion.

Living Mana seems like incredible garbage.

I like the concept, but unless the death rattle is protected from being wiped by polymorph, silences, and devolve it is pretty game losing for not even that strong of an effect.

I think I experienced all of the Hearthstone emotions over the last three hours.

I started the day with a goal of reaching Rank 5, at Rank 6 no stars. I won two quick games with Dragon Priest, then lost 5 straight. In an incredible fit of saltiness, I switched over to Renolock to counter the significant amount of Dragon Priests I was seeing, only to lose a couple more games, including one against the only Dragon Priest I came across.

Even more outraged, I switched over to Jade Druid, but after 3-4 games I wasn't really climbing. At that point, I said f*** it, and netdecked a Pirate Warrior deck. I then spent the next 45 minutes climbing from Rank 7 with 1 star, to Rank 5 with 2 stars, only losing twice during the process. I am no longer salty.

I don't even feel bad. This game infuriates me sometimes.

It wins by playing Huntress on turn 4 into an empty hand, and then going face with all of your stupid little minions that only exist to draw more secrets for a handful of turns while your opponent doesn't have any board clear and plays into your full tree of secrets. To be fair, two of the games were against Rogues that never drew FoK.

I finished the secret quest in the first game, then decided to just roll with it for the Hunter quest rather than changing anything. It's surprising how long some people will do nothing, until they can play into your secrets optimally, while you just ping away at their face with steady shot and an army of peons.

Sure, if I have low health minions and the Hunter plays a trap, I might pass suspecting Explosive. Or if I have one minion I really can't afford to replay and the opponent is killing everything but that, telegraphing a Freeze. Those are entirely different situations compared to what my opponents were facing.

I'm really tired of seeing Warrior cards interacting with damaged minions. If they're going to keep making that a thing I would appreciate Whirlwind going the way of the other 1 mana spells here soon.

So some of the new Hunter cards show some promise

a 1 mana 2/1 that shuffles a 4/3 on death and a 3 mana 3/3 that triggers a deathrattle

So basically a better Huhuran for Hunter's ridiculously stacked 3 mana slot and a decent top deck for later in the game (The 4/3 is 1 mana from what I heard)

Well there's also the new 5 mana 3/5 that draws 2 1-cost minions from your deck. So if you haven't managed to find your 1 mana 4/3s yet you'll have a pretty good chance to draw them and reload.

I think the Raptor Hatchling sounds good. It's a problem lately of 1 drops being too powerful, while this card seems good but not necessarily being super strong turn 1 to deal with.

Mike Donais said there's gonna be two good hunter 1 drops so I'm curious what the other will be.

I've been historically bad at winning games when someone is spectating me for their quest. I've even gone into Casual with a top deck at points just to get it over with and still sometimes lose 3 or 4 in a row.

It gets pretty awkward.

Trying to finish a 5 win Priest quest today playing Dragon Priest. Six games in and I'm just now realizing that I'm playing a standard deck in wild.

If anyone needs 80g, I've got the quest and I'm on anyway.

Edit: Post here if you want to play, those rascally playful sprites close the game for me if I'm idle for ten minutes or so.

I never bought Nax, and only had about two packs worth of GvG cards, so I always had a disadvantage before Standard/Wild got introduced. It wasn't until that first rotation that I had any chance of being competitive because of my lack of cards.

I'll always have the Wild disadvantage because of that, so rather than try to have subpar decks, I'd rather commit to Standard. I have no interest in Wild anyway. Even if I had a full collection, I don't think I'd ever play, because it doesn't matter at any level at this point.

I could keep the cards, but I'd prefer to get the 10k dust and be able to craft new cards so that I don't need to spend any money on packs.
