Other than one single neighbor my neighbors have no issue with me. That being said, the statement "that people on the street were ready to attack you" is entirely made up and shows that either you feel the need to spread false information for those who don't feel like watching the whole thing or you simply are incapable of viewing a situation accurately and should never step foot in a court room as witness to anything.

Oh, maybe I misunderstood. Why did he have to keep asking multiple groups of people to not get you riled up?

Police do more abusing than helping typically. It's all they are really good at with the intelligence level mandated to them along with the type of people they recruit personality wise. It's rare you find a cop that is both intelligent and non-bullyish. Out of the bunch only officer Parks seemed to fit that criteria.

Well, to actually correct you above, I work in psychiatric care, which involves dealing with the state mental health (detained and otherwise) as well as inmates - anyway some cops are like that sure, but the rant and such by said person in the video (be it you or someone you're a fan of) never helps, no matter what meltdown or mental health condition someone tries to hide behind.

Because telling someone in the middle of flipping out to stop flipping out magically makes them stop. If you work in psychiatric care you should know it doesn't work that way. Obviously I don't make a habit of flipping shit and headbutting police cars so there was clearly more to the situation to escalate up to that point.

I face 120 days max. Misdemeanor so that's half time which becomes 60. That's if max. 30 if run concurrently.

They're very likely not trained for the mentally ill outside of detainment orders in cases of self-harm, and you (I'll assume it's you, I don't know) were already in their custody by that stage anyway.

I have been to jail and I have been on house arrest.


Anyways, I have the 1st amendment and the 14th amendment that allowed me to file a grievance if I thought lets say the first cop making a smartass remark from the get go about me recording was unprofessional and discourteous and the same of the other cop condescendingly asking the crowd if what he was saying made sense to anyone else. These are rights afforded to Americans and they should not be declined.

When I started recording the left cop said "Here we go with this already".

Given most people in the community know me, including this cop, and I am known for public recording and Facebook posting. Don't believe me listen to the woman on the radio at 21:56 - 21:58 "Like the Facebook Dustin Cavanaugh?"

and then a lady towards the end said "He's on Facebook. Everyone knows him".

By his own admission he was still thinking I was under investigation and by the other Officer's own admission in court I was not. I had no legal obligation to provide my ID. None. I was no longer being detained. His partner even backpedaled and took back his request.
