Today I beated both The Evil Within 2 and Cuphead. Tomorrow I return to work. Smh

Nice. My friend I gameshare with just bought The Evil Within 1 and I just bought Everybody's Golf and Final Fantasy XII. I have way too many games that I will never finish.

I finished Prey and started the new Ass Creed. Both are good. I will start Ys VIII once they patch the localization which should be soon. I will then play either Wolfenstein 2 or Nioh. Probably Nioh because I've had it longer and have just wanted to play it forever but keep getting distracted. Also I can't sleep!

please tell me this new assassins creed doesn't have you collecting flags.

I normally enjoy steamed hams memes, but that one doesn't make sense and I didn't laugh. You can't just take a random scene of two people talking to each other and dub the dialogue over it

So the Bengals are trying to have Lewis beat Tom Landry's record of 29years with one team. I mean cmon its either that or Lewis is a lone witness to incriminating evidence of the owner doing something really compromising one day and he has his coaching job for as long as he wants. what other reason to have him and his coaching staff stick around that long?

(of course there is a article that said that Lewis would stay if he had more ownership of some things. what? you stayed in Cincinnati all this time doing a job where you're supposed to be in charge of stuff and you weren't? Can Stephen Hawking even figure that out?)

Man, I bought Blaster Master Zero the other day, and now of course it's on sale. I'm bad at this.

I guess I'm too used to the Wii U and 3DS, which only seem to have shovelware go on sale. Since the Switch actually appears to put decent games on sale, maybe I'll be a little more patient about when I get stuff in the future.

The Wild are perpetual underachievers in disguise, and have always been, but I'd just like to say that Eric Staal has arguably been their best player ever since he was signed in the 2017 off season as a washed up free agent.

It's refreshing to be able to make a Wild/MN sports related post and not have Erik_Q lash out at me like a drunk asshole. Except he's not drunk...he's just an asshole!

I miss him now. We paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

I hate this particular song, but for some odd reason, I like Mr. Jones. It's one of those songs where I don't really understand why I enjoy it, but I like it.

they're one of those 90s bands whose hits are insanely good. I don't call myself a fan of the Goo Goo Dolls, but their top 3 hits are GREAT

Did You Know: Big Yellow Taxi is a cover. But obviously I know the Counting Crows version much better. I think they are overall fine for a pop band from the 90s. A Long December is ok too.

Do you guys have a historical favorite 90s boy band? I thought I was an NSYNC guy, but Backstreet Boys are incredibly good and I just can't decide.

I was a BSB fan. My sister loved NSync which contributed to my BSB love just to spite her. I think they both have some solid stuff, but as an adult I might give NSync the edge just because Bye Bye Bye is so good. Backstreet Boys had better slow stuff probably. I Want It That Way and especially As Long As You Love Me are pretty damn good.

I didn't mind the Goo Goo Dolls or Matchbox 20 or other softer, alternative bands, but straight up pop music like Britney Spears or BSB was never my thing.

Despite that, I still know like 5 BSB and NSync songs by heart because they played constantly.

really true... it's such a hard stance to take. I'm a modernist because I love "Tearin' Up My Heart" but there are so many other good songs to analyze

NSync also never did anything (to my memory) as baffling as "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" or "Larger Than Life," which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.

I seem to remember that all the boys liked NSYNC in elemntary school because the girls were into BSB and we were afraid of cooties or being gay or something

It's funny how that works out. BSB were reasonably cool for boys to like here. I think. I hope. Anyway watching that video I was reminded that BSB had guys named Brian and Kevin which might have had something to do with why we liked them...
