So about those seals...

Ahahahaha...

Wary Fighter likely nullifies it, otherwise I'm sticking this to Zephiel and never turning back. I'm otherwise at a loss to who to give QR seal to since most of my units are either fast or needs another seal instead. Maybe my -Spd Ike?

Wary fighter does nullify it, however you could run double QR wary fighter Hector. Apparently, it only nullifies one QR effect.

I got a 4* Klein from the new banner, which is exactly what I wanted. Best SI fodder in the whole game.

Klein is my favorite archer. So stylish and a beast in combat, too. Want to merge my 4*, but feathers are always needed for other projects

Fae focus is actually kinda tempting, but I'll hold. Got 4* Caeda on the free summon. Pretty nice because I just foddered my last one.

It couldnt be more obvious they are running out of ideas. You can already get all these characters while going for other focus units, so i fail to understand why they felt the need for this banner. I really need a 10th Mathilda >_>

It's only worth it if you are trying to 5* +10 one of the 4* focus units. Or maybe for that one 4* you can't seem to pull.

I'm in no rush and I'd rather take what I incidentally draw while going for 5* focuses.

I like this banner over the standard "here's a few more 5* to dilute the pool with, good luck getting any of them because they get rarer the more we add" banner. It's significantly easier to build a team around 4* characters than 5* characters. There's a reason that 5* +10 Ninos and Nowis are everywhere in Arena.

problem is it's not enough of a rate increase per character with that many characters. with this setup you still have to sink 500+ orbs to get enough to +10... while also needing the feathers.

You need like 1500 orbs to 'reliably' get +10 off of a traditional *5 focus. There's no feather cost but honestly feathers are not a big deal. This game is constantly throwing feathers at you. Orbs are a lot scarcer.

Most 3-4* rarities I've wanted to +10 I've been able to get enough copies by pulls on the color when I'm going for someone else pretty easily.

I think this banner would be an okay idea if the 4* focus units were 4* base exclusively. I'd actually draw on a 4* focus if the right 4* base was featured.

I think the banner is a cool idea. Almost everyone on it has a notable skill for SI, and it's a bit difficult to get those randomly. If you've been screwed on getting lots of copies of useful skills like Fury, Reposition, Death Blow, etc., you can draw from this with an unusually high chance of getting one.

I won't be drawing from it much myself but that's just because the game hasn't given me Micaiah yet.

Oh and the Arena quests we just got. I see it has a difficulty. So hopefully once you clear that, you'll get a higher difficulty quest with greater rewards(I need more refining stones).

Which is great for me because staying in Tier 20 with Fjorm, her blessings, AND merged Zelgiuses? Yeah, no. That's not happening when I can't even hit 4900(Apparently 5k isn't enough this week)

i don't like Lyon at all, but perhaps that indicates other new Sacred Stones characters? hopefully L'Arachel, the rest of her gang, and either Myrrh or Marisa. i'm almost out of orbs, but i got NY Camilla so at least all the distractions are gone and we're getting a lot of orbs before the next banner ends. over 100 i think with all the login bonuses, another mini-TT, and a few other things.

the starter package is interesting. 12 orbs for $4 is still an awful ratio, but if they do this again with a more worthwhile character like Bike or Sigurd i'd have to think about breaking my F2P status.

i can't really see there being much divergence from the first poll, at least as far as the winners go. which would be Hector, Chrom, Tharja, Camilla. like maybe Azura could steal a spot from Camilla or Tharja but that's still Fates.

if you meant like, top 10, top 20 then sure. we've got memes like Reinhardt and Nino who should make that easily, and Sigurd and Ninian, who did very well in their VGs. but i can't really see any of them cracking top 2.

Someone explain why theyre STILL so hesitant to bring back Xander and Camus. Theyve been powercrept and will not break the game at all, so what gives??? Its just awful for those who missed out on them.

yeah it's ridiculous at this point. they're worse than dragons now, worse than BK, arguably no better than Fjorm. BK is now cheaply available to everyone, even if they missed him before. and that's just DC units; there's also many better cavalry units. they're not remotely game-breaking anymore.

The bar for tier 20 is really high this week for some reason. Blessing only increases score marginally, so I'm assuming it's because of people running Armors with Zelgius, but I have barely been facing Armor teams. Looks like I'm going to get bumped down to tier 18 this week, which hasn't happened in a long time :(

It took waaaay too much to get Micaiah, but I finally got her at +Spd/-Def. Her Spd is awkward even at + since she still won't double swords, so what A skill does she want?

Fury bringing her speed to 34, and up to 38 with a hone is worth considering. She comes with distant defense which is probably fine though. She can get 47 resistance when initiated on if you use the seal too, Sounds like a good quick riposte candidate.

I initially was thinking about Darting Blow and Hone Spd would give her 41 Spd, but she still be too slow to double swords. Should I go with Swordbreaker for B skill and QR for SS? I was also thinking about B Tomebreaker, but swords are kind of more common.

I don't think tomebreakers are necessary if you go double distant defense with QR. You can bait Reinhardts and most brave Lyns with that.

If you really need to initiate on swords, then you can do TA and just one shot them without worrying about distant counter. I don't usually like melee weapon breakers on ranged units and vice versa. How you want to build her depends on what the team you'll use her on needs.

How does it work with doubling up on skills? I believe you can't have DD3 and DD3, so you would do DD3 and DD2, right?

I like to make my units more plug-and-play. Like, Micaiah is not going on any dedicated team and I can't stick her on my arena core since she's not merged, so it's a little difficult to say what the team needs, but I was thinking with DD3/Swordbreaker/QR, she counters horses, armors, swords, and all but the strongest green tomes, and that's pretty sexy on one unit.

i don't like TA on a unit with an effective weapon, much less one with a weapon effective against two types. too much utility on the disadvantaged color to be giving up.

given her default assist skill, i would do desperation + brash assault seal on her. she can already one-shot any horse she'd bait, and non-horses don't need to be baited as much.

You can double up on Distant Defense but it's overkill. DD3/Swordbreaker/QR would be my recommendation as well. Desperation/Brash Assault isn't a bad choice either.

I hadn't thought about desperation/brash assault, but that sounds pretty nifty with her unique assist.

I agree on TA and Thani. That was a bad suggestion. I like it with Sanaki, but the tomes are different.
