The more I use Lon'qu in Arena the more I think he's very undervalued. He doubles almost everyone, and with Slaying Edge I'm proccing Luna almost every turn. High HP makes him deceptively tanky and lets me use Fury 3 without having to worry much about the self-damage. I really only built him because I needed an easy-to-summon unit to keep up with merges but he's quickly become a key part of my team. He's no Ayra but who is?

Lon'qu is pretty solid. I have a +2 Athena that pulls a lot of weight for me too, and they're nearly the same. Can double nearly everything they need to fight.

This is my current offense team.

Apparently Fjorm gives more points than half of my team in her base kit. Though I suppose that makes sense considering mages and fliers get reduced BST.

In other news, my Young Tiki apparently has a lower unit score than Nino. I suppose that's what happens when you only have Fury 2 on her. Steady Breath still eludes me(And I'd have to pull two Brave Ikes because I hate using up my only unit for fodder). If only she wasn't so hard to merge....

Defense team points don't matter so much since the highest reward is only for 500. I almost always have a wings of mercy dancer in there which is good for some surprise kills. This week is pretty nice since I can use a flying dancer with WoM and guidance

I meant offense team. Granted my defense team still has Black Knight + Nino. Just replace Valter with Y.Tiki.

My arena defense team is just my offense team (typically +10 Serra, +4 Matthew, +1 Tharja, Bonus Unit). I like to see if they can get wins. Almost always do get at least one which is cool.

This is what I'm using now. Tharja/Fae are the mainstays. I use Eirika or Ephraim depending on who the bonus unit is.

Defense is usually Hector/BK/Dancer/Bonus unit

i use Hector/BK/FCorrin/bonus for both offense and defense. well, every other week at least for offense. when i'm going to drop to 19 anyway, i just kinda use whatever i feel like. ever since i put Corrin in i've been getting many more defenses so i don't really have to worry about it anymore.

My defense team had been Hector/BK/BowLyn/bonus and I usually got a defense on tier 19, but 20 is tougher and I sometimes don't get any defenses. I'm not sure why I don't get more defenses... I believe Yankees mentioned more armors will give more defense wins, but putting a second armor on my team hasn't made much of a difference.

With the new maps, I've swapped out BowLyn out of my defense and offense teams, along with BRoy. Now using Micaiah/Nowi/Hector/BK for defense and Micaiah/Nowi/Hector/Zelgius for offense. Doesn't matter this week because I'm in 20.

For a while, I was getting 10+ a week with Hector/BK/Reinhardt. WoM Reinhardt, BK with steady breath , QP, armor march. It still works, but it has definitely slowed down since weapon refinement. I kinda wish I held onto the extra B. Ike.

I'm sort of interested if they will give Myrrh the trainee stat boost like Fae, Young Tiki and Nowi. If Myrrh gets the usual stat boosts on top of that, her stat total will approach Hector level.

Maria's stat spread is fine. People are way too harsh on new characters if they're not outright broken from the get-go.

Marisa has one less base ATK than Joshua (without a sword equipped) and like 7 less resistance (then +5 from Audhulma)

But as far as I can tell Shamshir hasn't been mined yet. So who knows what her weapon does. I presume it'd be like 15 mt, so 2 less attack points for like some neat effect would be good....

I didn't say it wasn't "fine" just that it isn't exactly great. It's a pretty whatever stat line at a glance. I'll still level her up (and probably +1 her pretty quickly) but she has an awful lot of her points in HP which is unfortunate.
