Low key, I still think Babe Ruth would have been a good hitter. Maybe not a record breaker, but a lot of his talent came from the fact that he approached pitching differently than anybody around him. I give him the benefit of the doubt that he would be able to put up 30+ HR seasons.

I had a lot of fun with career mode in 'chel, where you create a guy and only play that character

The only thing that bums me out is that there's a 3 on 3 mode because of the new overtime, but no 4 on 4 mode. When I played inline hockey it was 4 on 4 so I like it.

Yeah I saw he was starting there on Twitter. Pretty cool. He's an outstanding athlete. I remember when Buster Posey was a prospect there was a bit of chatter about playing him at shortstop once or twice a week because he played it some in college but it never materialized.

First thoughts on NHL 18: it is fun. I still don't have the stick controls down very well and so sometimes I pass it at the goalie instead of shooting it.

Also I haven't played an NHL game in at least 10 years.

Today I learned while I was trying to find out how to call timeouts in NHL 18 when I ice it with a tired line out there that the NHL implemented a rule against doing this but EA Sports didn't put it in the game.

The NL West is booty so the Dodgers are going to win it after all. But at least it's not as booty as the AL Central.

Not really a Facebook-specific thing I guess, but I'm in a group on there for our HS graduation class cause our ten-year anniversary is this year and there have been a lot of posts today. They're trying to plan a reunion but it's like a who's who of all the slacker students you never saw anywhere. Also, everyone has kids. I already didn't intend to go to any possible reunion but I definitely don't want to go if it's going to just be a bunch of people I don't know (including maybe some dropouts) and maybe some children that are old enough to try to talk to me who I definitely don't want to talk to

I'm definitely not going to any kind of high school reunion ever.

I assume I'm not alone in that I hate talking to children, right? It's not that bad if they're a toddler, but when you get in the range of like 5-10 it's that weird spot where you don't want to do patronizing baby talk but you also can't talk to them like you would to an adult. Plus I don't know if I could visually tell the difference between a range of like 7-10 since I barely spend time around children, and you might talk to those ages differently. Then people with kids act like you're a fucking weirdo for not enjoying being around kids but come on, it's a lot different and you get used to it when you have kids of your own

I like talking to kids.

I think I like kids in general but the only ones I care about are my nieces. Other kids I'll be happy to talk to for a minute and then it's like ok run along there are other people at this party you can talk to. I do have two little cousins who I like I guess, they're not too much older than 10 I don't think. I see them like once or twice a year and they always seem to be the same age

I shall be playing my first game of Overwatch tonight. The quest to become the greatest esports champion of all time begins tonight.
