Sherlock episode 8 complete

That's probably the closest the series will be to just a slice of life show exploring the lives of Holmes and Watson because the murder plot really felt secondary until near the end. In terms of humor, this is probably the best the show has been. I was curious as to the significance of the title since it didn't even bear a faint resemblance to the story it's drawn from (other than the name of one of the characters and the fact that Watson marries his wife at the end of it), so it was nice when Sherlock made the connection at the end.

I would say that, especially since the only solutions I can find are "uhhhhhhh restart it and see if that fixes the problem and if not uhhhhhh just get a new one" and "Contact Amazon customer service and see if they'll send you a replacement for free at a discount."

Sherlock episode 9 complete

It was cool to see them have a story with Charles Augustus Milverton (although they changed his last name to Magnussen here) in it since he was easily the biggest scumbag in any of the stories, and they held him true to form here.

Then they threw a bunch of unexpected twists at me the rest of the way.

Whoa, this version of 999 has a flow chart? Nice.

It's also kind of weird playing this without the dual screens because now you have to switch between two different "modes" to get stuff that was upper screen and stuff that was lower screen in the original. Makes me wonder how they're going to handle the final puzzle in this version.

This PS1 Classic feels kinda like a bad idea. It's got fewer games than NES or SNES Classic and at a higher asking price, to boot. Plus, at this point, just about every classic PS game people would want has an HD upgrade on some other system at this point. This is the one area where Nintendo being a bit archaic compared to Sony and Microsoft works in their favor.

I enjoyed the throwback to the classical setting of the stories, although I suspected it was some sort of dream based on the fact that they occasionally dropped modern terminology into the dialogue and such. I guess it was also a way to "explain" how Moriarty could have survived, but they seemed to subvert it at the end, too.

I also enjoyed that they drew attention to the fact that the stuff Watson writes in his stories is, by his own admission even within the stories themselves, embellished to an extent and what we read isn't necessarily how it happened, leaving us some latitude in interpreting them.

Man, it's kind of annoying trying to search for something in some of these rooms in 999, especially since you don't have something as precise as a stylus with the PS4. I've been trying to (I thought at least) click on a box, thinking there might be something in there, but it kept constantly just clicking on the area around it, so I thought it might be a dead end. After exhausting all other possibilities, I went back and finally got it to click on the box.
