No chases, also there's more Marche clones in the future though so he's not as standout now. It's still a really good relic and I'm sure will see use against the 5* dark magicite so it's still a great pick, just not as must have as it was before.

It's okay. It's basically a clone of Zidane's USB1 (a relic from like over a year ago so you know) on a better character for it. Lets her stack up imperils very fast which suits her better than it does Zidane. But it's a copy of a pretty outdated relic so yeah.

What are the optimal SBs to have with that party? Right now I have Bartz USB1, Cloud USB1/BSB2/Glint/OSB, Elarra and Rosa USB, Zack CSB/BSB. My battery is usually Ramza (BSB2 and USB). Is Bartz USB3 the last piece I'll need?

Yeah. I mean I would like to have Terra's brave, OK's USB3, or Cloud's glint, but none of them are top tier for me right now. I already have Cloud's ASB and I really don't want Faris's thing.

So I think my plan is grab either Elarra or Aerith USB on the second USB select if we get it. Then I'm back to deciding whether b5, b3, or Quinoa is the best use of my mythril.

I also got another *5 star in the daily, but it was Edea's sorceress gown super which for some reason always seems to show up in grab bag pulls this is like the sixth one I've gotten I think.

pretty sure i could get back to 50 mythril again but i think i gotta stop there with two disco dupes now. leaving behind Tidus AOSB is sad but i also don't care much about Rydia's USB so pulling for just two 6*s and one 5* is too thin. Celes glint will be back on the Tidus AASB banner at least.

both of them didn't return until August in JP. Rydia on a banner with Palom/Rosa/DCecil USBs, Kain/DCecil AOSBs. Celes was on an ability double USB banner with Vivi, Maria, Gau, King, Tifa.

Ability double banner honestly looks kinda incredible. I wouldn't mind having any of those. Although that's kind of far off and I feel like having a strong Celes NOW would be very helpful. Rydia's FFIV banner looks bad due to too many dupes, though there was also a water pickup she was on that doesn't look terrible that would arrive here in two months or so if we got it.

Do you know offhand if Rydia/Celes USBs were available in Ultra selects? Obviously Rydia's isn't available on this coming one, but the next one? Celes's is probably available in this coming one, yes? I think it's old enough?

Very very happy with this fest overall. Not godly luck but good luck to be sure.

Shame I couldn't get Rydia's USB but another time I suppose. I have everything else from her pretty much so she should probably still be pretty capable of being useful in the upcoming water torment.

Beat Garbranth and his cronies, man this boss was stupid.



Team was Alph, Terra, OK, Tyro and Selphie. The two judge gimmick is cake, Alph and Terra took care of them with summons, only thing I have to worry about is Onion Knight getting doublecast happy, but Garbranth hits insanely hard, even with Jitterbug + Power Breakdown + Onion Slice + Tyro BSB command 1. Had to retreat and use the RW Auron USB1 trick to remove that 75% buff, since he was doing 5000+ AoE attacks. He's still hard after that since he aoe dispels and piercing attacks, along with sap which which killed my party after last stand a few times.

There was also an earlier ability double banner with Vivi, Maria, Tifa, King, and Orlandu. That one should be only about a month away if we get it, it was almost 5 months ago in JP:

Beat and Mastered Gabranth. Used a weird teamcomp to counter his AoE debuff by just kinda not caring if I was buffed

Tidus, Auron, Setzer, Rikku, Minwu

Between Setzer Ultra + Burst, Setzer's Two Burst Commands, Fate Defying Bet, Auron Ultra 1, Full Break, Power Breakdown, his damage was reduced to comically low levels even with protect and shell down so I just had Minwu spam Hastega and Ultras every few turns to keep me alive. Didn't even use the Roaming Warrior which was Eiko USB

And yeah Tidus was my one man carry. Actually ran out of hones late and was using normal attacks (with dualcast chance from water infusion + ultra chase its damage isn't quite as pathetic as it sounds)

Also I guess I'll set my Roaming Warrior to Auron Ultra 1 for a bit in case people wanna use him for that fight.

Hmm, I tried the judges fight and I killed the first two but ran out of steam against Gabranth. The omni-resist made my damage bad, and at around 50% health he did back to back AOEs that took down my last stand and killed me. Sounds like I should consider a dancer or at least breakdowns, and bring a better non-elemental character.

On the bright-ish side, I did a run against Quetzelcoatl where 4/5 of my team survived past the 1 minute mark and we had him probably below 5% health. But we were just out of hones. So hopefully more hones + keeping Dorgann alive and we can win this one.

the latter. i mean there's others i could use eventually for inheritance (if i don't get 5* versions) but i'm still going around the circle from Marilith and i don't have 4 Garudas yet (which is weird because i got 3 in my first 4 kills). i never got 4 Dullahans from Isgebind either, which i couldn't sub-30 at the time and i'm sure i could now, but i didn't already have a party set up for it.

when i only needed 1 kill and had 20 minutes to go i could have just switched to Marilith or Tiamat to make certain i guess, though at the same time i doubt i'll need that gil either.

Yeah I kinda wish I got Edge SSB in that old BSB/SSB select we got a long time ago. Not even sure what I got from it but it couldn't possibly have been as useful as Edge's SSB has potential to be. Edge is even a character I like so yeah definitely not sure what I was doing there.

I've had an 8* Red Jacket since second anniversary, banner 1. At least, I think that was the banner.

I blew lots of mythril there, to finally get that Sephiroth OSB. Funny how we sometimes pick up the real gems while chasing something else.
