So I'm totally confused by a bunch of wrestling personalities trying to defend Brie Bella when it's like... Yeah, accidents happen, but she's had an accident every single week. I don't get it. Even people who are plugged in every week and have witnessed Brie hurting herself or others every week are trying to talk about how it's no big deal and accidents happen.

I actually don't remember that. I feel like I would though since I would've been the first one to say she's unsafe. I'll take your word for it though. It's still strange to me since even Sasha wasn't doing it week after week like this doing something as basic as tag matches.

Sasha's career ending kick to Paige was definitely worse than Brie's kicking Liv in the face but Brie has only been wrestling in her return for like a month so it's more concerning in some ways.

I guess Sasha messed up Emma's shoulder too. People are probably more forgiving of that one because it was cause of a more contrived spot than Yes Kicks. Though it's a shit move so that shouldn't really be an excuse

Do you have a source for this? I find it hard to believe that WWEs doctors would clear her when her own doctor wouldnt, especially after how many doctors Bryan had to get lined up before Maroon would even consider revisiting a return to the ring.

Im not defending Sasha here since I do feel that shes unsafe and puts herself and others at risk to try and get a better star rating, but Paige had an interview where she discussed it. Wasnt aware of this until reading it, but Paige was the one that called the spot that ended her career. I was one of the people who blamed Sasha for this, and Ive always been one of Paiges biggest supporters in this topic, but if Im going to trust Paige. If she says this isnt on Sasha, Im going to believe her.

Either way, I don't particularly hold the Paige thing against her when I say "Sasha isn't a safe worker" since she keeps doing shit like the corner spot after injuring two people with it, was regularly busting people's noses in NXT, and commonly puts her own self at risk with stupid spots.

Right so that doesn't make it Sasha's fault. She literally to the same spot on RAW with no problem because Paige was a fucking ticking time bomb.

Yes Paige was someone you had to be delicate with. In theory this was known and a responsible wrestler cuts out the more dangerous spots from their arsenal. It's possible over time Paige's condition starts to improve slightly and she can take slightly more risky spots over time and in the long run it's never actually tested to a point where it becomes career ending.

The spot isn't exactly "safe" when done vs anyone. It's just the whiplash won't kill a healthy person-- it's still not something they should be taking especially when it doesn't really look all that good like most of Sasha's dangerous offense. Also it's the specifics of the execution in that instance was sloppy-- the suddenness and positioning of taking it in that way is going to whiplash anyone in a way you shouldn't want to.

You don't know that unless you're saying she would eventually have more matches with Sasha Banks and that Sasha would end her career later if she didn't end it then.

I mean really name me another woman on the roster who does offense that is going to whiplash you like that, as sloppily as Sasha does? Maybe Ronda Rousey or Brie Bella could've ended her career too, I guess? Most of the other women are either A. Significantly more competent. B. Significantly more safe (as in, their moveset does not contain offense that would threaten this kinda reaction). to the point where I'm not sure it would actually ever be tested.

We'll have to agree to disagree there. I can't really take what you're saying seriously since you clearly have a problem with WWEs medical staff, based on the wording used to reference to Punk and his staph infection. It seems like you'd be against them no matter what they did or said.

Its more like "I have a brake leak but I'll keep driving my car because it hasn't completely leaked out yet."

PAIGE HERSELF LITERALLY SAYS SHE CALLED THE SPOT.

She's been wrestling since she was 14, she's the vet in the ring, she tells Sasha to do a spot. That's absolutely 100% on her.
