i think playing horford full time at the 5 is gonna be a death sentence for him. last year he looked way spryer, with baynes starting.

draymond didn't start at C on that 73 win team. they had a gigantic australian white dude. that's what we should do as well. the 73-win team also had a star wing playmaker with declining athleticism running the bench unit...

Huzzah, Magic win again. 9-8 on the season and 7-2 in last 9 games. Vuc put up an almost triple double (28/10/9) to go with the 30+ in last 2 games before tonight. Gordon also got 31 (24 in 1st half)

Next 5 games look tough though. Raptors, @ Nuggets, @ Lakers, @ Warriors, @ Trail Blazers. Even 1 win out of that would be great

they always start off well. last year they started like 6-2. but we'll see - it's possible this is the year it's real. scott skiles can have good short term results with young players.

Last year we started good and injuries derailed everything. Plus it was built on unsustainable 3 point shooting. A couple of years ago we started 19-13 and it got derailed because the players hated Skiles. This year it looks very different though.

That being said, as I've mentioned a few times we have a ridiculously tough next 24 games (16 on the road). We then get back from that stint with 2 home games against the Celtics and Rockets. So basically if we get to that point (45 game point) at 19-20+ wins we are possibly a playoff team as the back end of our schedule is a hell of lot softer. If we are only at like 14-16 wins we likely crumble (which is the norm)

Best case scenario I see us with ~22 wins at that point. More realistic scenario, maybe 17 or 18 wins. I think we end up with ~37 wins this season if we keep playing like we are now. 28-30 wins if we tail off. So probably somewhere between those two but we probably have a ceiling of like 44-45 wins

KINGS close it out after Thunder make it a nail biter, keeping us a game over .500 before going back on the road.

They had a 3rd quarter where they only put up 15 points and a lot of guys had not great games so beating OKC at this pace with guys having bad games, Kings potential keeps rising

Magic were down by 18 very quickly in this game but now in the 3rd we are ahead for the first time all game at 61-59

This is so frustrating. Magic forced Raptors to turn it over on 7 of the first 8 possessions and held them to 3/6 shooting in the first 7.5 mins of the 4th. We should be long out of sight except we have shot 1/14 so. 83-82 to Magic
