Magic win the first quarter 30-10 whilst missing 2 of our starters (Gordon and Isaac). I knew we had a softer part of our schedule coming up but we might actually claw back to 7-7 if we win tonight and against Wizards tomorrow.

Of course we have the ridiculously brutal schedule of 16 road games in a 23 game stretch coming up, the bulk of which against good teams. So even if we do get to 7-7 we will be lucky to have more than 13 wins by January

I think when looking at the schedule kings had 10 road games then 10 home games but I may be wrong about that

Well ours isn't helped by us giving up home games to play in Mexico City instead in the middle of that stretch. And then they wondered why the fans here reacted badly to losing home games in a season where we will have to scrape for every win. It looked like we were giving up the year before the season even started. One of the games is winnable too (Bulls) and the other will be hard (Jazz)

Sounds like Carmelo's done in Houston.

Not saying we would have won that game but the refs absolutely gave it to the Wizards. Go into the 4th quarter tied and they gave the Wizards 18 FTs to the Magics 3 when in reality it should have been even.

Worst one being a blatant moving screen where they gave the foul against Fournier instead. And that's when it was a close game with like 40 seconds left

KINGS take on the SPURS tonight on the last game of our homestand. Can we go 2-2 and keep momentum or drop 3-1 on the stand and fall to .500?

They get to rest until Friday where they take on the Griz in Memphis on the first night of a back to back where they will follow up against the Rockets

Harry Giles was sent to the G League and played for the Stockton Kings last night and posted a great line with 30 points in like 23 minutes. They recall him tonight and he got play time producing 12 points and 6 boards with some key minutes

KINGS fall to Memphis in the rematch on the road. Some of their youth and inexperience showed in some late game situations with some key late game turn overs, but they seem like errors that should be corrected as they grow. Fox may have had career high in turn overs and they were still within reach. The game was in grasp and it was very exciting down to the final seconds, Kings are becoming a team to watch.

Next up are the Rockets in Houston tomorrow in whats sure to be a shootout.

I will say Troy Williams keeps impressing me. He didnt do a lot, but he had a big block and 2 back to back 3s that brought the game to 6 with 6 minutes to go. He is definitely a piece I think we want to have going foreward. It may come at the expense of some minutes for other guys we want to get going, but he is being productive and can really be a spark off the bench.

Well we beat the Lakers so we are 8-8 and 6-2 in our last 8 games. Vucevic puts up 36 and that is 30+ for him in back to back games. We actually look like a decent team but we'll see if that holds through the brutal road trip after our next 2 home games (Knicks and Raptors).

If we are anywhere close to .500 entering January I'll be thrilled since our second half of the year, especially the end of the season, looks signicantly easier than the first half of the season.
