Nice. At low levels especially, the 3k exp from clearing tier 1 raids adds up.

I just (barely) cleared an ex deoxys raid. First group filled instantly, got into the second one. 8 people. At 20 seconds left everyone else left and it timed out at under 2% health. Second time in, we got it. Angered me having to use all my Max revives and trying to get in before the last lobby timer expired. And of course it had terrible IVs.

Huh. I throw out normal and great (I keep 20-30 of each) but I have over 1000 ultra and can't use them fast enough event during events lol (I bought item expansions to max level and still rarely go below 1900/2000 total items, and I limit all potions (throw out purple and orange) and keep the rest and revives at under 100 each and keep Razz/Pinap at less than 100 each (I throw hold razz and silver pinap at rare or good stuff) while trashing all nanab (or feeding them to fodder I don't even try to catch and just feed and run lol)

Lmao. I'm not sure what all of mine are. 4k slaking is top and probably will be for a while. Rayquaza I think is top 6 but could be 7th or 8th. I think I have a rhyperior up there. Definitely a dragonite and t-tar. Not sure overall though.

If you live in an apartment or semi-sizeable building, just letting the game idle can result in some good walking distance while your GPS wanders around

I live on the second floor of a 7 floor building and I'll let my game idle for like 5 hours from when I get home from work to going to bed. I can usually get several KMs a night, and even MORE when it's cloudy outside which is funny.

Yeah... I remember crossing that threshold of being able to solo Machamp. Keep doing your weeklies and hope for Lugia while it's still available and otherwise keep getting the exp to build stronger teams.

Still hoping one of these community days coming up will be Ralts which would also be helpful for you

Espeon* and Alakazam are your best bet - they're really only bested by Mewtwo and Azelf and are much more attainable than the other options. Gardevoir can do enough damage and tanks its Fighting moves like a boss (but if it has Heavy Slam you might as well bench it). Lugia and Latios from the current research boxes can get the job done, but they require quite a bit of powering up from the level you catch them at in research.

* - walk an Eevee as your buddy for 10+ km and evolve while it's still your buddy while it's day-time in-game to get Espeon. If done right, the Evolve button will show Espeon's silhouette instead of a question mark.

Tamao for Umbreon
Rainer for Vaporeon
Sparky for Jolteon
Pyro for Flareon
Linnea for Leafeon
Rea for Glaceon

However, the name tricks only work one time each.

I forgot about the name thing. Does it work for the two newly added forms also? If so, what names? I already made two glaceons at an ice lured stop but haven't seen a leaf lure stop and forgot about the name trick.

I picked Instinct cause I liked Zapdos and most of my friends and coworkers pick red/blue. Sucks because even though I'm lv40 I can't hold a gym in my area for very long by myself, turnover is relatively quick and other yellow players very hit/miss with gyms.
