It just highlights how despite saying he isn't lapdogging, he blatantly is doing so. He's giving up his own ability to make decisions in order to sheep Chris, and has been doing so all game. How do you know Chris is correct when you're "waiting for his decision", huh?

I have never said I am not "lapdogging" him. I have literally said I am his right-hand of Justice and will smite any that he commands.

Why do you trust him so much? Chris doesn't have perfect or infallible reads, even if he is town.

Chris has earned my trust and has my sword. Does this concern you? Do you fear our bloc and merry band with our powers combined? What concern is this of you? If I am scum and Chris is town, I am giving town my vote.

Sounds like your real concern if this was a real avenue of attack would be that Chris is scum, and I have given scum my vote.

What does it hurt if I have given my vote to Chris if we are both town? Am I not reading the game? Am I not here to discuss things? Am I not putting in more effort than most here?

But the part that sticks out to me is Tom. I he calls Tom fluffy and remember when Death ISO'd that word? Then Puns kind of did too? So Tom is fluffy and he was fluffy last game therefore scum. But he ignores my read, Chris's, and 5tar's. This part feels like I'm trying to find an easy target to say is scum but it wasn't thought through well.

I don't think you commented on Chris's read on Tom. Tom voted Chris. Chris said scum Tom would never do this.

My read on Tom was basically he's more carefree. But I did pull up a quote of mine from last game to give a bit of context.

5tar basically backed my read and compared Tom to last game as well.

There was 0% chance you were gonna be lynched 16 hours into a day. That train had no actual possibility of achieving a lynch. So, again, why did scum have any purpose to entertain it or jump on if you are town besides giggles or to simply appear town/active?

Extrapolate that to make reads on those who are so concerned. Sultan primarily. Red somewhat.

Remember those who didnt care or didn't even comment. Camarija and pez and others.

It is easy to use any situation to make reads. Sometimes it is the most awkward situations that give you the most genuine reads.

So here's the thing that I am seeing from a gameflow perspective. The person I am least sure of the original five voters of being town just switched their vote to Mzero who is a very "eh" day 1 target because of his inability to really do much early on as a player. It feels like a target of opportunity which I don't like. Lea reminds me of another player with a similar name in the past who could fake good amounts of pep and charisma but fundamentally they weren't a great scum player if you examined them closely.

Also it has not gone unnoticed that people defending HB have been about the village/vanilla thing which Lopen and I haven't cared a lick about as the people who have helped exert the most pressure on him. So he is being defended against a secondary point rather than the primary point, which is pretty problematic because his defense of that was "eh I didn't think you'd listen" which is insanity tbh because as Corrik points out I am always adjusting my reads.

Really not looking great for HB at the moment.

If they are town, I suspect they'll do enough to reveal themselves as inherently Town

I think your level of activity and engagement is good

Of course, but at no point do you ask for my opinion. Less "I am your dad" and more "You thought my post was organically important because you thought of it immediately, so why wouldn't you ask more of me?"

Also Lopen was really sneaky in his conversation with you. He was very clearly drawing you along and cornering you. Maybe you are town and this is just a misunderstanding if so "fair enough" but Lopen was not being fluffy or whimsical. He was very pointedly angling for information from a few people and I feel like most of the game didn't notice.
