Do you think there's not enough of a case on red without that? Do you think red13n has proven to be an invaluable asset to town to this point that a mislynch on him would cause someone to be punished for it? Do you think that someone would necessarily be Chris even though red had 4 votes on him before magic tricks?

we brought our keyboard along for the some purpose of mafia and Wifebolo offered to get it for me for like an hour straight while I was in bed but I've been in "one more post" mode this whole time. She eventually grabbed it.

Re:Sultan it just kinda seems in character for him? I haven't played with him before IIRC but I have interacted with him a fair bit. Heck you played his game did he strike you as a super in-depth well-spoken dude

This is not helpful to me. I would like to know why my read is wrong. Saying you don't care doesn't give me any reason to change my mind and move on. Like I get that people probably don't read it as scummy. But I don't see where my reasoning is wrong so I can't fix it. And if I can't fix it I can't trust myself on the rest of the game.

Pez's argument against Sultan seems very similar to the one Luis made against Sultan.

I'm not saying that's inherently scummy, but consider that scum previously made more or less the exact same argument.

Possibly for me. Remember I've had him in the town pile most of the game.

No but like if I got Pez mislynched via roommate Powers that would be a pretty big reason to look at me the next day. (inb4 that happens and people [justly] throw this post in my face). Chris is putting himself in a similar position, at least in the eyes of like me and Pez who take that kinda thing pretty seriously.

Well you're calling them "cheap", and that word makes it sound more to me like you're saying he's posting "bad", not necessarily scummy. Show me the scum motivation and I'll care. Also you saying how no one seems tto care just feels like you're frustrated that we aren't all piling on such an easy lynch target who is making "clearly bad" posts

-Town Chris catches scum Red
-Scum Chris busses scum Red
-Scum Chris really wants to get rid of town Red
-Town Chris screws up on town Red

(I have to admit I'm just really entertained by the idea of Chris deciding to just bus his whole team and cruise on "no way Chris busses Luis and Red and ____" and I wouldn't put it PAST Scum!Chris but I think the entertainment value is skewing my perception)

Was, not is. He slipped towards neutral once arguments started coming out on him and now I've almost talked myself into voting him. I noticed more activity from him D1 than I have come to expect from him. I think I explained that a few times D1, possibly even to you!

The scum motivation is I want to post content but I know who is scum and who is town. So I'm going to skim and read the pages and comment on things as they come. So he reads through the stuff looking for stuff to comment on and doesn't come up with his own stuff because he's not trying to hunt scum he's trying not to be noticed. But he knows he needs scum reads and this where the Tom thing comes in. Oh Tom was scum and fluffy last game he's fluffy now I'll call him scum here and that can't bite me later because that's why people thought he was scum last game

Cheap here means content that can't blow up in my face later. So if I parrot what other players say and make sure to throw some mud I should be fine.

I had this big kick a number of years ago where I was convinced I could call people out on page 1 and that I'd be able to convince all of town to just vote them with me immediately

Took a while for me to realize that even if I'm super confident in an early gut read I can't just lay into it right away. It doesn't work because other town think you're a tunneling loon and the scum you're targeting gets to adjust themselves.

That's what I was like "yeah he's fishy. No, I don't have anything else to say on the matter"

Could you approximate how town you felt he was after these steps? Like, you don't need percentages. But like, say after the plead thing, did you have him still as a town lean, then totally neutral after the relative lack of impressment?

Second one was not a huge shift- I'd say around day start. First conflict bumped him down to maybe low town/ high neutral, second to just neutral, other d2 arguments didn't move my needle, Chris going all in has me likely to vote him before I sleep
