Do I still feel distant then? I had been trying and failing to keep up. But we were approaching the end of D1. I wanted to get in as much as I could before dinner with my friend and the baseball game. So, I sat on a bench and then at Starbucks for about 2-3 hours trying to give whatever insight I could and involve myself in the end of the day, knowing I'd be sitting in the stands of my baseball game. Point is, that stretch I wasn't trying to catch up. I caught Red on the SK nonsense because he knows better to ignore Tom. But I've put Corrik and Puns on my town list for reasons that had nothing to do with Tom. I decided Cam was town long ago and wrote up a post describing my thoughts about him, one where I don't mention Tom. I thought I saw Sultan slipping up as scum. I was wrong about that. People focused on the Tom angle but it wasn't just that. It was the context of his post. He was catching up but he just repeated what others said. Then when it came to throwing suspicion on Tom he ignored not only my read on Tom, but also Chris' and 5tar's. My suspicion was on Sultan not because he thought Tom was scum, but because he had apparently been reading the topic enough to seemingly parrot other people's opinions. But he somehow missed at least three people talking about Tom as clearly town. D2 I had to spend a lot of time trying to unpack Lopen lynching Tom. So I admit I had a lot of talking about Tom that day. But the other going on was Red. I was not here when Red claimed and then there wasn't much to say when 5tar had his scan. So I missed all of that. So yeah I used my read on Tom to inform me of the game.
