If it ends at B then that just means they only have two Support scenes (and there's no possible paired ending between the characters, not that every pair with an A support have possible paired endings).

The accent just means there's an extra scene/rank in their Support chain. C, B, B+, and A means that there's four different scenes in the chain.

Annette is not the worst choice for dancer. Keep her as a mage until you get some nice stats then give her a levin sword so no one ever hits her

OK, so...this is a wierd glitch...

I thought I was just crazy the first time so I didn't mention it, but twice now I have exited the map selection for battles to progress through the calendar, only for it to load me into a battle instead. Last time it happened I figured it was just me not paying attention and hitting the wrong button, but I know that didn't happen this time.

Crazy thing is the battle map it loaded me into isn't even one of the options that we're on the list for that week...

Finally finished Blue Lions, woo. That was 75 damn hours, jesus. No way am I coming back to this for a few months. I do want to play the other paths but there are too damn man games for this to completely monopolize my (limited) free time. X_X

Completed all 3 Lord routes, 220 hours.

Crimson Flower should have been my fav but was clearly an afterthought.

Azure Moon had the best lord story, though it answered very little.

Verdant Wind was....wild. May not have been as into the Lord's story as much, but it EASILY has the most actual content, and not just in level numbers. There's way more story and cutscene here, and more interaction and scenes with your house in part 2. Part 2 of Azure was basically all Dimitri all the time.

So I finally got to the point where Edelgard turns on you if you didn't choose her path. That... Escalated quickly. "You should come with me for this month. Oh, no? Then I'm gonna go TOTAL BITCH on you." Like, she just went from "Friendship yay!" to "KILL THEM ALL" in no time. I assume things make this not so black and white since so many people like Edelgard, but so far she seems kinda psycho.

Depends on the route, really. There is a BIG difference between the fight with Edelgard in Azur Moon and Verdant Wind. Azur Moon she'd lost it completely. Verdant Wind was sad as hell. End of that cutscene too much for my Femleth/Edelgard heart.

The whole point is that Edelgard is nothing but a power hungry tyrant, CR can fool someone who hasn't played the other routes that she's a freedom fighter (a freedom fighter who invades other nations) and that the church is run by a crazy dragon, but the big twist of the game is that the church isn't really evil and there's no justification for Edelgard's actions.The only thing that really bothers me is that CR ends with a "and Edelgard took care of TWSID and everything was fine" when at the end of CR she's still clearly being manipulated by them

I mean there's probably 20 hours there that are just idle time....

I did a LOT of side battling in CF and AM. I cut that down dramatically in VW....but somehow that still took longest and ended up with me being a way higher level.

I'm saving SS for Lunatic, since I can renown buff every character now. Already got Byleth to a B in Flying in preparation.

Yep I completely agree. She is definitely the villain of the game on all routes. Even her own. But it's the prospective of each route that is important. I wish the marketing of the game wasn't so heavy on Black Eagles tho. I think it was said somewhere that 45% of people did BE first and I bet most of them did CR. I feel like that is the route your supposed to play last.

I know this is the least hot take ever, but I would have just cut the church route all together and put more effort into CR (weird that CR is also the abbreviation of church route) Switch the final battle of the church route with the final battle of Golden Deer, make rhea go mad from being hit by WMDs, it makes more sense than her going mad for no reason and replace fighting an einherjar of Nemesis, which felt really empty since his existence doesn't hold any importance to any part of the story

I dunno I finished Crimson Flower and I felt like I was definitely the good guys. But really, from what I can tell, all the routes contradict each other completely, basically completely different games, so it's not that hard to be the "good guys" no matter which route you choose. It doesn't seem to be a matter of what facts you receive, but rather, what facts exist.

How do you invade another nation unprovoked, refer to your opposition as "creatures" to dehumanize them, and vaguely hint at genocide and feel like "Yeah, I'm the good guy"

That's about as far as I've gotten for locks.

Of course considering there may be new Characters once DLC comes out this may be moot.

Well I mean Rhea totally is a creature!! You see with your own eyes right away when you turn on her, she turns into a crazy beast! Then it turns out she's been controlling all of humanity in fodlan for a thousand years, by violently murdering anyone who even thinks about standing up against the church, and you see some of that in part 1. And then there's all those crest experiments they seem to be doing on Lysithea, and Edelgard's family, and who else... crazy stuff.

And as for why it's ok to invade another nation unprovoked, it's a revolution, she wants to get rid of the unfair nobility/commoner divide, and stamp out all supporters of the corrupt church; replace the society with a new society, a meritocracy where science is held above faith. Hell yes! She's the hero brave enough to do it.
