YoukaiSlayer 04/13/20 3:36:49 PM #170:	Haven't mentioned much about my health in a while. It's had it's ups and downs but i've lost more weight. Down to 132 lbs (at 6 feet tall). However, today I start 2 new medicines that COULD fix my digestive issues. I already took the first one and the other one I take with every meal. Probably won't really know if it's working for a few days but it's the most hopeful I've been about a treatment probably this entire time. Getting basically cow stomach enzymes and pig pancreas enzymes. I think theres a decent chance I'll also need to take bile salts but even without those, this could really help out. As far as slice-of-life anime go, it's still pretty mediocre. The animation kinda sucks, the leading lady never talking still makes it seem like she has a mental illness of some kind which -- for whatever reason -- has continually gone almost unaddressed by everybody else in the show, and the plots are kinda meh. I like that it centers around gaming and I've been amused by the depiction of arcade culture. Although gaming is far more convenient nowadays, I miss the concept of arcades. I liked how Yaguchi finally got his big rematch -- which he planned on winning then making his love confession -- only to get curbstomped in the battle. Most of it feels like going through the motions, and the stuff that isn't, the creative liberties didn't really add anything of value. Elements where the anime can shine with its medium (voiceacting, music, animation), don't feel impactful. I'll finish this because I enjoy the source material, and I'm still interested to see how they'll utilize the medium (There's still plenty of opportunities to do so). Go read the manwha if you want a better experience. Which reminds me, I haven't seen much anime where I've experienced the source material first. I didnt get a whole lot of feedback when I expressed I loved the show, glad you enjoyed it enough to watch the whole thing! I like pretty much all of the characters.
