This post bothers me. Right before this post Red is grilling DYL over the video then he drops this which doesnt make sense from a town perspective. It seems to be a perspective slip that DYL is town which doesnt mesh with his previous posts.

Is DYL really so terrible at mafia that he would fake interest in a 37 minute video? What a losing play

I feel like scum would be more likely to watch that video than town, since it would give them an excuse to not be focused on playing the game for 38 minutes.
And I am not a fan of DYL deflecting back to HB either, when people started looking his way.

Sure HB probably shouldn't have asked everyone to watch the video, but I can see him wanting to do it for fun since it came up in discussions earlier. At worst maybe scumHBattle wanted to waste towns time for 38 minutes, but thats a rather pointless scheme.

DYL's later response to the pressure is a bit better at least. Though he may just be trying to buddy up to Crescent here, who I do like right now because of how active and even aggressive (in a good way) she is.

So I am starting to be a bit worried about my 'Ally' Ben here.
Partly because of what Crescent already said (though I dont understand the contradiction she is trying to point out in #235)

But Ben responding to the accusation of 'fringe posting' with a comment like

I knew I shouldn't have posted at all till after raiding was done with, lol.

comes across as trying to laugh the suspicion off.

When I wish to express my feelings on a persons alignment I will do so in a blunt and direct manner. Any prodding in either direction otherwise is me attempting to gauge reaction.

sorry I wasnt here last night....my job continues to hate me and I had to flip from being on the overnight shift to being on the dayside shift. Not fun.

as far as the game goes, I agree that DYL doesnt look great for trying to make that video a bigger deal than it needs to be.

scare coming in hot and heavy makes him look town to me. Why draw attention to yourself like that so early?

I took a shot at corrik's expense to vote ben but that aside what I saw there was ben was seemingly putting attention on himself so I figured it might get some activity started if I voted him. but after that when I read Crescent's denouncement of ben I wasn't really seeing it. All I see so far is just ben doing ben things. That said I've not fully read this morning and probably won't until lunchtime

I feel like I saw Scare vote you immediately the last time I saw the two of you in a game together and I think he was scum and you were town but I'm not nearly 100% on this.

Postmark: I notice Lea recently said this as I read further down.

Also Death, that post only made sense because I was misinterpreting Ben's previous post. I've already said that was a screwup.

To elaborate, I originally read it that he said he was going to tell everyone he forgot. I put the statements together when I probably shouldn't have.

But you just pinpointed a problem I always had in his responses. Ben's either spent his time trying to placate me or distance himself from the seriousness of the push he made.

For the record I don't think he tried to make it a big deal at all, the rest of us kind of did. With that said, like I mentioned earlier, it's his response to it which kind of seemed like a one off sentence, but it rubbed me the wrong way and just didn't seem all that genuine.

The thing that bothers me about DYL isn't really the video at this point, its calling me town 4 times in an hour and using me as an excuse jump on Ben. He had a couple of responses that seemed oddly based on me just 4 hours into a game.
